So here's something I think will spark a little debate up for those who follow the brand. Over the years I have watched Supreme go from a little unknown skate shop to one of the biggest brands right now. For me I loved the brand growing up and still do mainly because of my attachment to skate culture. The supreme skate team continues to kill it video after video. The brand itself does certain collaborations that get me excited such as the more recent Slayer and Black Sabbath collaborations. But at the same time while they do dope stuff with bands like Slayer you have the crowd of kids who strictly just buy something because it has Supreme attached to it and know little about the product they are buying. I guess you can say I have a love hate relationship with the brand. How do you guys feel about it?

I have a couple items that I absolutely love that I luckily got before the big explosion a couple years back. Good for them on becoming one of the most iconic brands of the last decade, very cool. Most of the stuff they put out is pretty fucking ugly though.
Sucks that I really wanted something from the Slayer collab but not willing to pay $80 resale for a shirt.
Btw, the only items I have are: Camo Hat, Camo Backpack and Weekend Bag, Three 6 Mafia Collab shirt, and a green crewneck that I have made my annual St. Pattys crewneck over the past 4 years.

In france there's a youtube channel where the dudes go to every supreme drop to film 13 year old posing like they're in a jean-paul gaultier fashion show and they ask them questions about the drop. for example, for the Sade, or CDG or the Rap-A-Lot drop, they asked them about the collab, history, etc and they set them up so they look like fools. good laughs |
