Usually not my cup of tea, but that's catchy tbh. But where's the heavy they used to be? the ole BMTH technique So for the record, I loved Happiness In Self Destruction. This song does seem softer, but I feel like they did the same kind of thing when they debuted My Old Ways as the face of the album. The song was easily one of the more middle-ground on the record in terms of how heavy it was. It had maybe one moment that stood out, but it was way late into the song and would have kicked in after the listener formed an opinion anyway. I'm not too worried about them putting out softer stuff, especially in singles. I'm guessing it's just to broaden their fan base. Their latest still had bangers that didn't get out out as singles like Die Like Your Brothers, Washed Up, and A Song About Myself. I don't mind some softer stuff like this or Better Vibes taking up tracks on the album (especially if they release another 15 track album.) It's a nice progression.

i bought happiness in self destruction at their last show here. i still havent even opened it. i do however like the video they have for Crows but apparently it wasnt on the album? Happiness In Self Destruction was an interesting record for sure, it's complex and lyrics are amazing. Somehow I couldn't get into them in their Rise Record years, my favorite TPIY record by far is Wife Beater. wife beater is probably my favorite, i remember the first time i saw them when they toured watch your children burn and they played 2 songs off of it. it brought the mosh

The plot in you has matured so much since they came out.

I read the comments and everyone is freaking out about how The Plot in You has gotten soft. Okay maybe they don't put out songs like Rat Poison anymore but Happiness in Self Destruction still had some heavy songs. When I hear a song like this it just reminds me of their singles like Better Vibes, Take Me Away, and Time Changes Everything. I am still hopeful for some brutal songs. Not to say this song is bad though, however I would enjoy it more if it didn't sound so similar to a BMTH song.
