What do y'all think about the protests? I'm all for it and glad more players are participating. I'm sure ill be the outsider on this but I think its so stupid. Just playing fucking football so I can forget about all the ugly shit that happens in the world. I watch sports to forget about everything else and have fun, these protests are realllly killing my vibe. I swear, they do not even talk about qb matchups, different coverages, team momentum, its all about politics now. I mean, its a pretty big deal in the sports world right now. You have the sitting POTUS calling players sons of bitches, and going on twitter tirades about the NFL. He is having a huge negative impact on the game and really, its him that has caused this. I understand the argument that you just want to watch football and forget about it, but when Trump is literally bringing it up every 4 hours its going to involve the players. I'm not even going to make it about race or anything or any of the stuff thats been said about Steph Curry/Kaep but the fact that pregame shit is literally military propaganda and has been since the Military started paying for it, politics have been involved in sports since then.

Did anyone catch the game last night? That hit on Adams looked fucking nuts. Also apparently this is the first time the Packers have lead the Bears in the head-to-head number of games since the 30's or something to that effect.

I worked most of the night, so I missed most of it, and only caught the 4th quarter, but agreed, the hit on Adams was vicious. Happy we won though. Now we got 10 days to heal up and hopefully get some guys back!

Really glad the Falcons have the bye week so early. We had something like 5 injured starters by end of day Sunday. I'm still steamed about everything that went against us in the Bills game. First day I've been able to even talk about it without getting too salty. Doesn't help that KC is still undefeated since Washington couldn't rally. Nothing against KC it's just now we don't have the top record anymore Either way, anyone got any predictions for this weekend? How are all of your favorite teams putting up thus far?

GO CHIEEEEEEEEEFS!
Seriously, my dudes look awesome this year but NONE of it will matter if we still cannot win a playoff game.

Really close game today, but glad the Pack pulled it off. Good to see Davante Adams back out there and ok.

Refs were a joke last night. I've never seen someone try to get as team to lose so hard. Cam Newton fucked up too many times though, not even the refs could salvage his play. Glad the Eagles won - if only because it means my beloved Falcons can get back to the top of our division with what *should* be a very easy win over Miami. It's going to be a long wait to Sunday.

As true as this may be, this is a team totally susceptible to pendulum swinging streaks. It wasn't all that long ago (2015 to be exact) that we came roaring out of the gate winning our first 5 games only to drop the next like, 6 in a row. Hell, even last season we were a team of streaks. But it was feast over famine so it worked in our favor. I'm not at all surprised that we won the first 3 this season, and I won't be at all surprised if we lose on Sunday. Conversely though, we could win another 3 in a row. That's just how we've trended lately.

I swear this is going to be a wild next two months for college football. So many top ranked teams and going down left and right. S It is also very sad that it is now officially half way over

UGA continues up, Falcons continue down. Such is life. How good do you think the Packers will be moving forward, barring the miracle that A-Rod comes back?

I think it's a pretty safe bet that they won't be a playoffs team at this point, but you never know since it's a long season. Someone with his veteran status getting yanked so quickly from a season can be devastating for an organization that hadn't planned for it. If they can manage to show up in (or even to) the post season, I think it'll speak volumes about the organization and management as a whole. Looking at the schedule they have the Saints next, who may have been tough even before the loss of Rodgers, but then they have a god send of a bye week after that. After that bye week they'll come back into the Lions, Bears, and Ravens, so at least there will be some good bench-marking opportunities to see how good or bad they'll be.
