Are you able to change the keys on a k70? I have a mech with red switches at the moment but I wouldn't mind RGB. Also has anyone had experience with the rapidfire vs red? I swapped the stock keycaps on my K65 with black translucent ones if that's what you're asking.

The bottom row on the K Series keyboards is non-standard, so be aware of that when looking for new keycaps and double check to see if they'll work with the keyboard.

I'm planning to buy the k70 as soon as I figure out what mouse I want next.

Has anyone ever ordered a board through WASDKeyboards.com?
Looking to finally get another board and pass my current one down. Pretty cool how you can customize those WASD boards however you like and they are about mid range price.

Anyone who is well-versed in the world of mechanical keyboards know where I can get a good set of white keycaps for my Corsair K65? I got a full set of translucent black ones a while back but they were a pain in the ass to find because of the non-standard bottom row.

The other non standard keys arent hard to cover with a decent set, it's the fact that the spacebar is 6.5u when 'standard' is 6.25u. Pawn your K65 off and get something else. Need recs, hit me up on Steam. Don't really come around here much anymore.

Nice vid, man! I'm going to dig a little into this stuff, will probably laste a while 'till I'll eventually buy one. But hell, this interests me way more than I would admit. It lasted for two years. Got my first one in july as a tryout for a WASD keyboard. Redragon K552 TKL without LEDs and with blue switches, because it was the cheapest I could find. Absolutely love the typing feel, but the sound is so loud I have to put on headphones after a couple of hours. Eventually configured the WASD of preference after a lot of careful consideration, only to find out shipping to Belgium would cost at least 52 dollars. Total price was about 241$. Hard pass. Too much. So I scoured the net again, found Candykeys.eu (German online store) and ordered the Cypher Vortex Split Spacebar with Cherry MX Brown switches. No LED, with dedicated arrow keys, 65% size. Medium priced and ideal size, because I'm too scared to spend a lot of money on a 60%. Can't damn wait. Let's hope Candykeys is trustworthy, because Reddit is a scary source. Note: I'm no gamer, but I spend my work hours with a keyboard glued to my hands. Didn't want to go with MX Clears because I don't want a heavier feel. I love the blues for the feel but I hate the sound. And so do my colleagues. They'll have to endure the Browns though.
