I'm pretty happy  , felt like every one of my players scored a goal...but a lot of this game is planning for mega changes without using your wildcard. Saving up some free transfers or taking a minor penalty to make that 2nd or 3rd change could be a huge difference between being stuck with a bad team and keeping up with the rest of the people. Last year I took 4 or 8 point penalties a few times with the extra transfers but it wound up working in the long term. Also, picking players who have a long stretch against weak competition (Southampton defenders, anyone) is a great strat. |

This is why I rarely keep up with fantasy footy. I always buy players who i think 'could be great' rather than who is actually providing the points week by week. Already my team needs wholesale changes. Batyashi already looks like he'll take a seat on the bench now that Morata completed changed the game after he came on. Why oh why did I select Bellerin as well. I still have faith in the players I picked. The only one who I'm regretting is Kane instead of Lukaku, but then Kane had some really good chances against Newcastle that he didn't take. Fine margins. I heard a stat which said Kane hasn't scored a goal in August in the last 4 seasons. Not sure how true that is but it sounds like he takes a while to get going at the start of each season |

Congrats to benji for winning the league! It was pretty close in the end with just 32 points separating the top three. Happy with my second place after what was an abysmal start.
I'll renew this again for next year if people are still interested.
