Really? Although I love GDT I thought the original was better. I think so. Blade 1 has one of the best starts to a movie but other than that I thought it was boring and shit directing. Blade 2 was good from start to end. Blade 3 though was horrible. But dat Triple H doh  |

Aliens being better than Alien is definitely not indisputable. I could make numerous points for both sides of that argument. Also, Godfather 2 being better than Godfather 1... close. That movie is like 40% shots of Pacino moping though and I think the first film has a richer cast that is better utilized. Bad Boys 2 could definitely be said to be superior I also thought the Ninja Turtles sequel was much better and closer to the cartoons than the original Honestly the whole superior sequel thing is pretty rare Agreed, I think Godfather 1 is a much better film than two. Alien vs Aliens depends. Contrary to popular opinion, I think the Aliens directors cut is too long and drags on, making the original Alien better. But Aliens theatrical cut is much more to the point, and paced better so it doesn't drag and I would say that version is better than Alien. |

I don't think anyone will agree with this but I think Temple of Doom is just slightly better than Raiders of the Lost Ark.

John Wick 2. The first one is great, but the ending with the fist fight in the rain was kind of shit. The action sequence in the museum and the climax in JW2 are incredible. Plus they still managed to reveal just enough about the world so that the audience knows how it functions without removing the mystique.

JW2 is better, but it kind of falls in to the "kill bill" category, it was definitely made to be a multiple chapter movie. So I can't knock JW1 for the set up. |
