Yep, and if you want to be normal about it and not have a day every week dedicated to running for 2 hours (my 25k Sundays), you can just break it down into 12k every day, which is about 1 hour and 15 minutes at a 10 min./mile pace, which is the average and relatively comfortable pace for people who are at least somewhat in shape. It all comes down to finding the right shoes and keeping a good posture. I've had 4 knee injuries and 1 major surgery before from when I used to play basketball so I quit that and remained inactive for a good number of years, and after just one year of running in the morning I've made this much progress and am injury-free. Do you use a treadmill? I could never go running everyday just because it's usually raining at least 2 out of 7 days haha

During the summer I usually skate as transportation from work to the gym so that's usually 6 miles a week. Not a lot but it's fun and exercise. Then I'll do a PPL split at the gym, usually there for an hour or a little over an hour. I skate less during the winter and fall as it gets colder but I still to going to the gym.

Do it dude. You are doing it for yourself, not for anyone else anyway. I just hate it so much. I get no natural high from exercising, and i'm just in pain afterwards. It never seemed worth it to me. I can't believe that, your body naturally releases endorphins after a good workout, it's not a choice. Also if you are in pain afterwards, you are doing it wrong fam

Everything just changes and you keep going, it feels so fucking good. Especially when lifting, that shit just feels so good once you start doing reps.

I used to be in pretty decent condition a bunch of years ago; about 200lbs, went to the gym 4 days a week and was doing well. Between financial struggles, a pre-existing heart condition diagnosis, and just falling into a state of depression, i rapidly fucking got out of control and really heavy. I am currently going to the gym 3 days a week, and doing 3-4 miles on the eliptical each time, aiming to better my time whenever I get on.

It hurts during, it hurts after, it hurts immediately before the next time since i'm still sore. It's never felt good. I wish it did. I don't get those endorphins at all. Or, if i do, they are blocked out from the pain and fatigue. All i think about when i start is "when can i stop?" It sucks. I hate that i'm like this. As it is, i do have a small dumbbell set. It's dusty now.

Nothing better than racing cars in rush hour to blow off steam haha I could never go to a gym though.

ive been weight training on and off for about 5 years now, ive never hit a super low body fat % which i eventually do want to do but i have managed to become pretty damn strong. lately my biggest accomplishment has been being able to do 3 sets of 8 reps of 100KG.

Started at the gym a few years ago and got into good shape. Then I had two more kids and I'm not in great shape. Just moved and joined a new gym so hopefully it'll get better.

Trying to cut back on sugar in my diet. I'm not overweight but I keep hearing about how bad it is for you and how it impacts your mood. I am craving chocolate and cake so much right now.
