i have such high hopes for this, even the old movies which were cheesy as all hell, were awesome. please dont fuck this up

I thought the first episode was so fucking horrible, his coworkers were dreadful to watch. Thank god the rest of it was fantastic.

Didn't really care for all the military crap. Just wanted to see Punisher wreckin fools. Whole thing felt a little slow for Punisher.

I finished it on Sunday. Like all of the Marvel series on Netflix, it just dragged on too long. Why do they have this 13 episode format? They could easily condense it into 10 eps.
As a series though, I thought the cast was stronger than the likes of Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Think I still preferred DD and JJ though by comparison as they actually feature villains worth sticking around for. That PTSD marine was good but not great and the guys behind Frank's execution video were a little too faceless to really care. Some gnarly violence going on towards the end of the series though!

I agree with the length problem.
That being said I think it was probably Netflix's strongest overall Marvel season since DD2. The other standalone shows seem to have problems in the second half of their run (Kilgrave using his power through a device...? I thought it was pheromones!)
Punisher stayed consistent throughout.

Episode 8. It drags really slow in the middle. Roomie said it picked up the last few. But damn, it's slow sometimes.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I didn't mind the slow pace, but wasnt a fan of some of the acting. Looking forward to more of this series.
