The first two singles they've released are good but really safe and not that memorable. Hoping the rest of the album is stronger (and that the dude in the cap doesn't get any tracks to sing on).
TBH I haven't really delved into either single completely, as I really don't want to spoil the experience for myself; I listened to like 10 seconds of their latest single that just dropped, and I liked how chill it sounded, almost like a good counterpoint to The XX. Like you, I hope the new album is good. Lol, now I'm going to have to go back and re-listen to "Every Open Eye" because the only thing I remember about it was that I enjoyed it.
