why the fuck did we just give Gordon Hayward 120 million dollars I'm gonna fuckin kill myself I think he's on his way back to greatness. It's true that he doesn't have much to show for those three years in Boston but the first two essentially were wiped out by the injury. Yeah that's a lot of money but he's a game-changing player. He's got a couple more years of real elite play in him. |

He's got a couple more years of real elite play in him. So the reason I was so pissed was that I thought Lamelo wasn't as good as he is yet (his shot is falling a hell of a lot more than it was advertised and he's way better on defense than expected), I didn't expect Rozier to take the step he did, and I was furious about stretching Batum's contract when this was the final year otherwise. Basically, it felt like a "win now" move from a team that I believed needed to tank again cause we were bad. After a few weeks, I'm already over it. I love Gordon, I love Terry, I love Lamelo, we winning. |
