Good way to start the season, winning on the road. Keep it up, Brew Crew!
On a side note, glad to see they kept Ji-Man Choi on their roster. From what I read of their spring training, Choi was a monster at bat.

Here we go everyone! Happy opening day! Braves play the Phillies at home today in just a few hours. Did you see that finish? That was awesome. I was glued to it! I streamed the game to my phone while I was in the gym and actually had to put my workout on hold for a few once we tied up because I was so wrapped up in the game haha. I'm headed to Suntrust tonight to watch 'em play so hopefully it's as good of a game if not better. |

Braves beat the snot out of the Phillies last night. 15-2. And without hitting a single home run. I think the Phils had about 5 errors in the game too. Hopefully they can keep it up when the Nationals come to town tomorrow. Braves usually play well against them.

After our showing against the Phillies I feel like we have a good shot at this series as well. If we win today or tomorrow, I may try to get out to Suntrust for Wednesday afternoon. |

Was catching a replay last night of the Brew Crew’s game earlier against the Cards. Started to go into extra innings and I had to go to bed, so I looked up the final. Yeesh. The Cards really know how to take the wind out of the Brewers’ sails year in, year out.

I am ashamed... honestly no idea why I root for the Reds. They really haven't been good at all in my lifetime. Dollar Dog night sounds like my kind of night. Ever since I saw Field of Dreams as a kid and the scene where Kevin Costner takes James Earl Jones to Fenway... they are at the concessions and Jones just says "dog and a beer". I thought, "I can't wait until I can order a beer so I can just say that" - turns out it doesn't really work because then they just ask which beer and what size you want. Damn. |

Brewers should be pretty solid this year though! If they can sort out their pitching into something manageable, they might be able to make a run this year. But with the Pirates at the top ATM I can't complain. Always happy to see a former bottom dweller do well. |

Braves play the Cubs today - I feel like this series is going to be an important benchmark for us, especially on the road. I'll probably head home from work a little early and see about moving my laptop out on the patio to enjoy some nice weather and a beer or two while the game is on. 2:20 can't come fast enough!
After that, come Monday we'll host the Phillies and the Mets for 7 straight days at Suntrust. I know I'm trying to go to at least one of each of these, but I wouldn't be upset at making it out 3 or 4 times if I can convince some friends to come along.
