I think all the poll would do is delay the decision on what the next film should be even further. Amiright? We need to take a poll to figure this out. Polls for dayyyyyzzzz.... .... on a tangent, how you doin, stfubaker?

Couple of suggestions for future films, for your consideration... Wake in FrightWake in Fright (initially released as Outback outside Australia) is a 1971 psychological thriller film directed by Ted Kotcheff, written by Evan Jones, and starring Gary Bond, Donald Pleasence, Chips Rafferty, Sylvia Kay and Jack Thompson. Based on Kenneth Cook's 1961 novel of the same name, the film follows a young English schoolteacher who descends into personal moral degradation after finding himself stranded in a brutal, menacing town in outback Australia. Knife in the WaterKnife in the Water (Polish: Nóż w wodzie) is a 1962 Polish drama film co-written and directed by Roman Polanski, which was nominated for Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Polanski's first feature film, it features three characters in a story of rivalry and sexual tension. Knife in the Water has garnered acclaim from film critics since its release, and is one of Polanski's best-reviewed works. I'm aware I picked the last one, so everyone else feel free to put others out there.

You pick and we’ll watch. I'd go with Shoah but 9½ hours is probably too long.

You know what would be cool?
If we did a double review, but for remakes. Watch the original, and then the remake. Point out big changes, things we didn't like, things we're happy they kept. Compare budgets, see if more money made it bettee/worse.
That kinda stuff.
What does everyone else think?
Clearly the stuff is very narrowed down, because a lot of franchises try and reboot, not remake. But I can definitely think of a few that would work for this.
Thoughts? Opinions?

Oldboy would work for this, that was one of the earlier pics on here as well. Wake in Freight is an awesome film as well. Well up for some Polanski films if I can find them

You pick and we’ll watch. I'd go with Shoah but 9½ hours is probably too long. I'm already pissed off that Endgame is 3 hours long. This takes the fucking biscuit.

Well up for some Polanski films if I can find them Honestly, Oldboy was the one I was thinking of. It's my favorite movie. And I always talk with my customers about how the Americanized one is good as a standalone movie, but doesn't compare when it's looked at as a remake. What are some other ones people can think of? The Ring and the Grudge, Let The Right One In, are some that pop into my head. Stuff I wouldn't want to do is like, Planet of the Apes. The first few are so drastically different then the originals. Also, Godzilla. Especially the one with Matthew Broederick
