My biggest question right now is who is going to wind up with the House Tarly Valyrian Steel sword now that Jorah is dead. Sam isn't a fighter and there isn't anyone set up from House Mormont to pass it to, and House Tarly got all roasted and shit. My first thought is Jamie in thanks to his service to fighting for the living and how close he is to House Tarly but I can be talked down from that. Sam clearly doesn't want it.
I see it going to a main character and the only one that makes a lick of sense is Jamie. Change my mind.

My only real disappointment is that it felt like weve had seasons worth of buildup on Winter is Coming and it felt like the Whites went down easily without really making a major dent in the cast of heroes weve come to know and love. That said, it was entertaining as hell to watch the battle. Such a brooding episode of TV. Battles on GoT rival most movie battle sequences, especially Battle of the Bastards

Kind of glad we can spend the last three episodes just focusing on political intrigue and whatnot. It's what first hooked me to the series after all, that and the boobies.

Can't wait to be done with this season. The writing is just terrible and I have more questions than fucking answers.

I just deleted some newbie's post which contained the leaked spoilers. Why the fuck would you post that? At least use spoiler tags. Watched the finale this morning. I seem to be in a minority who enjoyed how the season played out. Sure, the pacing was too fast and there were things that could have been done better, but I don't view it negatively at all. Maybe my expectations were just lower. I felt like every main character had a satisfactory ending. Where do you guys think Jon was going at the end? Double checking for White Walkers? King-Beyond-the-Wall? The latter seems more likely.

Guess that's what happens when you have such a monstrous episode before the finale. I took their journey as him being the new Mance Rayder, living beyond the wall, free to do what he likes as he essentially freed the people of Westeros with his decision to kill Danaerys
