Klopp wasn't feeling optimistic either since he thinks City is the favorite. I just hope it will be a game like Chelsea - Ajax during the CL. Klopp always tries to paint Liverpool as the underdogs. I think they should be the favourites going into this. It’s a home tie and their front three will be up against Bravo, Stones and Fernandinho. I expect Gundogan to play the CDM role, which won’t offer them much protection. It’s football though, anything can happen.  NGL, I read your post and first thing that pops in my head is the audio clip from the opening where it’s announced “Anything can happen in the next half hour!”; I was only stupid in thinking that it was Captain Scarlet instead of Stingray... |

NGL, I read your post and first thing that pops in my head is the audio clip from the opening where it’s announced “Anything can happen in the next half hour!”; I was only stupid in thinking that it was Captain Scarlet instead of Stingray... Oh man, this takes me back. Stingray and Captain Scarlett were such odd shows. Even at the time there was something slightly creepy about them. It’s prolly the puppets; grew up watching the OG Thunderbirds show when it got recut to fit 30 min. kids show format, before Power Rangers took over its spot. Thunderbirds was my jam when I was a kid. |

I spent the weekend back at home in Hungary with family. Haven't spent time with time in person for 2 months, so it was dooope. Came back home last night.
Today is bank holiday here, so some extended time to rest (plus clean the flat).

This is my Christmas weekend, basically.
Mom and Dad are coming tomorrow, so we're visiting everyone we can around a two-hour-drive-radius from my house all weekend and pretending it's the holiday. Why not?? I took off Monday as well. Should be fun. Had to do all my shopping early and just finished tonight!

Planning on finishing my Star Wars rewatch tonight ahead of the new one coming out. Tomorrow I'm going on an owl handling experience (yes) and on Sunday I plan to watch a lot of football.

My weekends have become predictable and repetitive. Teach violin lessons in Shanghai over the weekend, spend time with my wife and kid, as well as her parents.
However, tomorrow I will get to experience a brunch buffet at the Marriott down the road where we had our wedding back in 2016. The catch is that I will be eating with her dad, not my wife...booo. But the food is amazing, so I’m stoked. Buffets in US are hit and miss, but I thought mostly miss. Here in China, so far I’ve only seen buffets as amazing, high class eating experiences of fresh and special dishes, so I’m going to try to clear room for it! Haha
