Anyone got a Rift, Vive or PSVR? Share your experiences here.
I personally have the latter (PSVR). Pretty good for the price, albeit I haven't tried any of the former. I have plenty of grievances: having to use the camera for tracking which means forward facing limitation, inferior controllers to competitors and games on the online store being too expensive (nothing like Steam).
If anyone wants to know about VR gaming (ie is it worth it?), feel free to ask.

I own a PSVR and it is a fantastic experience. I love being able to have people over and show them certain games. My go to is actually the Playroom VR. There are some great little experiences in there that really got people into VR. I recently showed my family and their reactions were worth every penny. Really excited to pick up Farpoint to see how good it is. I honestly believe that VR is our future. Also, as a side note. VR porn is worth every penny as well.

The company I work for specialises in VR experiences and gaming, and we are still in the experimental phase. To get the full experience, an average consumer will need to spend a lot of money. So far we set up VR events, kind of like an arcade for multiple people to use. I definitely see AR being more useful in the future or mixed reality. Still hard to tell.
Gaming VR, in my opinion, is sort of like mobile gaming where you play for a little bit and then you are done. Perhaps we will see more when project scorpio is released, PSVR might start making AAA titles.

I mean, when you're watching something and take off the headset you feel this disphoria because you felt like you were there. I've only be able to watch a few movies made for that type of experience but even in their subtle forms it really immerses you into an experience. I'll be buying Resident Evil 7 this year and I'm sure that will be the first major long term experience I'll experience in VR. The problem with it is that it can be draining being in that type of environment especially when you're doing a lot of input commands. I'm much more encourage to sit back and let the game play itself.

is it worth it.. I have a ps4 was thinking about getting the vr.... If you already have a PS4, then definitely. My recommendations are: - Farpoint (with Aim controller)
- VR Worlds
- Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (with Move controllers)
I recommend to not buy any other games until you have fully explored the available free demos on the PS Store. A good example is that there is no point buying Eve: Valkyrie when you can just play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for free.

I got to try HTC Vive @ Pax East this year, it was awesome! I am going to upgrade to the Vive once more games come out. I am also waiting for AMD Vega which will bring some much needed competition to the GPU market.
Then again, the StarVR looks incredible if one could power such a thing.

I love horror, but I am not a fan of horror that turn to using gore and torture. RE7 pretty much does that. The villain shoves a knife in your face and twists it for a few seconds while you sit there strapped in a chair.

Recently got a PSVR, I didn't think I'd be impressed with it as I am, definitely not something I'll play everyday, but great to pull out with a few friends for a night in.

too early for me to really give it a try. A friend of mine got PSVR and really liked it but I think it's still a little too limited and not worth shelling out the money.

I haven't played mine for a while. Last decent game with a physical release was Far Point. Still looking forward to upgrading to the Vive since I am much more comfortable with shelling out for digital purchases on Steam than on the PS Store.

Definitely needs some decent games before it gets forgotten about, a lot of people selling them on Ebay etc. RE7 is pretty amazing on it though.

Save points were too far apart and having a knife being twisted in my face made me feel too uncomfortable. I struggle to watch gore films too so there is no surprise I struggled; otherwise, the game was pretty good.
