I finished PH a month back and now I finally have the time to get into ST which I never played before. I also still have tLoZ: Ocarina of Time laying around but somehow I can't quite get into it (at least on the DS ) Also here's my friend code for 3ds/2ds: 1006 3641 2117 let me know if you added me so I can add you back

Dang you are young haha, my childhood game was Ocarina of Time so of course it's my all time favorite. I couldn't get into Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Track, the controls just were not for me. Did you play A Link Between Worlds?

Did you play A Link Between Worlds? I mean, technically OoT was first published 3 days before my birthday so I _could've_ played it haha Absolutely contrariwise for me, I hardly dislike OoT's controls and especially the weird camera views (but like I said, might just be the DS version?) No, but I remember thinking about getting A Link Between Worlds instead of OoT back when I purchased. I decided against it because some reviews said some things don't quite work on the 2ds cause it was specially designed for the 3ds. Don't know if that's really a reason that makes the game unbeatable for 2ds-players, but well. Should I? I played A Link To The Past on an emulator some years ago and I think I liked it.

Well, you have to look where OoT was coming from, they introduced that camera/targeting system that totally shaped the game industry today. And I grew up with that, now camera systems are more fluid than ever thanks to the secondary analog that is now standard (N64 didn't have a second analog). But I can see what you mean, I guess Nintendo could have modernized the camera angle for the 3ds version. That is weird, I mean there are some areas where 3D MIGHT be useful but I played the whole thing without 3D, I actually dislike the 3D. I highly recommended it.

I never thought about it like that, but yeah, it does make sense when you look at it like that. Like you said, it probably just annoys me because I've already been spoiled with automatic camera angles etc my whole life and therefore am not used to the way it's handled in OoT. I think I'd only need to deal with and practice the controls for a bit to be able to enjoy the game, but I need to do that some other time I'm having more spare time. Alright, in that case I'll look into it again, thanks!

That use to be a nightmare back in the day, especially in the water temple.

Folks who made Chivalry: Medieval Warfare have put out a beta for their upcoming game Mirage on steam so I'm trying that out. It's in the same vein as Chivalry but with magic lol

Still caught up in Final Fantasy XV. The story is just starting to pick up speed, but I'm doing as many side quests as possible. I also need to finish the Fallout 4 story, but that's another case of wanted to do all the side quests as well.

About a year later though they had smoothed it out by a lot. Having said that though, don't play this beta. You'd be lucky to get into a server and when you do get in it's just a clusterfuck of team killing and clunky combat.

I tried doing all the side quests but there are honestly too many and they get repetitive as hell. After a while I realised they were just padding and wanted to progress the story. I put 50 hours into the game and only did about half of them. The last game I played was Neverending Nightmares. Really cool horror-themed hand-drawn indie game.

Added your friend code; if you check your friends list, I'll be Orville and Pvt. Taco. One's a normal handheld, and the other is my digital bitch.

Recently finished TLoZ: BoTW at a little over 120+ hours sunk into it and started over again just because I want to be in prime position to kill off Ganon wearing a Tingle outfit. Double embarrassment for him. Playing Persona Q on 3DS and Persona 4 Golden on the Vita.

Really don't play as much as i used to. occasionally I'll load up NHL and have a few games but that's about it. Not really in a rush to get the latest games on release day, I'd much rather wait until they're cheaper a few weeks later.
