Hey everyone.
So here we are, another year passed, which means another Secret Santa in the making.
If you are not familiar with it, here's the high level overview:
There is a group of people. Each person is randomly assigned to send gift to another person. To avoid crazy shipping costs, we have 2 groups: one for America and one for Europe. You send me your details (address, some of your interests, etc) and I pass it on to who will send gifts to you. Profit.
Couple of things:
1) I am not participating, so I will organize both parts
2) Only participate if you are 100% sure you can deliver. If you can't prove you sent your gift, you are banned and put in the Hall Of Shame.
3) Getting tracking is mandatory (this way we avoid "but i sent it!" problems)
First step is seeing who would like to participate. You have to write in this thread if you'd like to participate till Nov 1, Sunday. Then I review the list of people, and if someone is questionable, we will decide if those people can participate. Who is 'we'? Answer: xNickyUrinex The Matt Reptar essien and me. Also please indicate which group are you in, since I might not know where all y'all live.
Then on Nov 2, Monday I'll provide a list of people who are allowed to participate and you'll have to send me your details that week. I will specify what is exactly needed at that time. You'll have time for this until Nov 8 Sunday and on Monday I will send you the details of the person you have to send your gift to.
After that, it's you who will do the work: getting the present and shipping them out in time. Aim to send out the present so they arrive before Christmas.
Once again: If you fail to deliver and cannot prove you've sent it, you will be banned.
