I wish I liked this album as much as some of you guys. While I don't hate it, I just can't get a huge amount of enjoyment from it. It feels too long and repetitive. I don't like the guest vocals either, they're jarring and seem out of place to me.
Architects have always been one of my favourite bands, so I've made myself an edited down playlist that I'll actually want to listen to. Just removing the tracks with guest vocals and some of the tracks that felt superfluous/samey to me. These are the songs I kept:
1. Do You Dream of Armageddon? 2. Black Lungs 3. Giving Blood 4. Discourse Is Dead 5. Dead Butterflies 6. An Ordinary Extinction 7. Animals 8. Libertine 9. Meteor 10. Dying Is Absolutely Safe

It clocks in at about 37 minutes.
I’m going to edit a playlist with this and see how it goes.
Told Blacksalt this, but I didn't mind this as much as I thought I would've; does it function as an Architects album for me? Hell no, not at all, but does it function as a modern alt metal album? Yeah, it kinda does. I don't think I'll come back to it often, if at all, but it's one of the better musical letdowns I've had in recent memory...

Lookin' at you, fucking Underoath...
Underoath imo is one of the most overrated bands ever.

DTGL and Disambiguation-era Underøath were the best, it's just nowadays....
