My name is Nick, I live between LA and San Diego, and two steps give me life. I have been here for years and will continue to be. You will likely find me commenting/uploading on the hardcore/old-school metalcore side of things or making some sort of complex, overlong argument elsewhere on the mosh. Warms my heart to see all the lurkers/new guys coming forward. Welcome to the festivities. Kind of off-topic, but how do you like San Diego? I'm thinking about moving out there because the cost of living is about the same as it is in Chicago, but Chicago weather sucks and the crime is kind of outrageous. I've applied for jobs out there but can't even get an interview because I'm a shitter and my degree is garbage lol

Yooo.
I am Julian, 25, and currently, reside in Long Beach/LA. I have been around since the good old blogspot days and what not. Now I usually just go here to find new music, I never actually download anymore. Aside from that, I work as a creative designer at a digital product design agency. Talk to me anything about art, star wars, nintendo, and coffee.

So it seems like we are doing it here. My name is Attila, but to avoid being associated with the band, I chose the nickname Zeke. I am from Budapest, Hungary, but currently - well, from tomorrow - live in Warsaw, Poland. I am a software engineer. I like photography (especially landscape, architecture and street photography), traveling. You can find some of my photos on my instagram: www.instagram.com/attila_h_/My main music is probably post-hardcore and metalcore, but I pretty much listen to everything. Heavy advocate of positive mental attitude.

Glad to see the age profile here has gone up over the years. I think most people here were in their late teens when it started.

My name is Maxim, can confirm I've been on TDM since my late teens, though with intervals of inactivity. I'm 23 now, closing in on 24. I graduated earlier this year and now I work at a bar. I listen to all kinds of music though in recent years I haven't listened to the heavier stuff as much anymore. I'm a big movie fan, always up for some movietalk. That's about it.

I've applied for jobs out there but can't even get an interview because I'm a shitter and my degree is garbage lol San Diego is awesome, man. It's not as hot as LA or where julianlozano and I live, but the weather is sunny and beautiful. Lots of history and lots of nightlife. There's the beaches of course, and if you like beer it's pretty much heaven. Where the West Coast IPA was born. Downsides are shitty traffic (probably used to that in Chicago and don't worry San Diego is nothing like LA as far as traffic goes), definitely more old people than LA (they like the warmth and chill vibes, brahhh) and theres location. To the West, ocean. To the East, nothing of interest and desert. To the South, you have Tiajuana/Mexico. If you're leaving San Diego it means you have to go North, period, and that means traveling through at least an hour of military bases and nothingness before you hit Orange county (where I grew up. Home of Stick to your Guns, The Offspring and that shitty TV show) and then eventually LA which needs no introduction. So you can feel a bit isolated but should only really need to leave the county for travel/visiting/random LA shows. All in all, 9/10. Plus if you end up not feeling iit you can always move to LA and hate life there

Yo I am Felix, 22 from the north-west of Germany. I was like a lurker on TDM from 2011-2014 until I started uploading for my friends and posting the links on here aswell. Love to share heavy-ass bands and talk about music in general. I'm mostly listening to Hardcore (the more metal bands), but I like to spin some cool hip-hop tunes too. I was really upset seeing the mosh getting shut down, but I'm so glad it's back online and it's cool to see old faces again.

to answer slyhippo's question and I delete quite a bit from time to time as my taste changes still quite a bit.
I'm Jan, 24 and living in Frankfurt, Germany. I am one of those semi-active members who chimes in from time to time but I am trying to be more active this time. Main interests have to be skateboarding, books (ik, nerd) and heavy music. i always thought you were pretty regular. heavy hitters also.. wish there were more smileys on here

Glad you have decided to speak up and let us get to know you a little better. I bet your job is very stressful lol You know it's not that bad. We have a lot of sick old people who are confused with their bills and insurances (i.e. "Okay now you have an Aetna Advantage plan that Kraft/Heinz gave you, you know that now means you owe a $15 copay before your visit instead of just billing traditional Medicare." "Eeeehhhh??") Otherwise, it's very interesting and it's fun reading every note from our 6 providers seeing like 120 patients each day. I'm sure you've had some good stories to come from those geriatrics
