Oh yeah, All Fucked Up is borderline cringeworthy even for me haha. It's really this "let's talk to the kids" kind of thing, listing every single thing teenagers could have, everyone will find something to associate themselves with in that song. Haha okay then we even might be on the same page about TCBH, because beside these cringey teen-appeal lyrics it is daaaamn catchy. Amity be like:

I don't know how it is in the States, but anyone recognizes how fast Knocked Loose lost their hype after releasing their LP?

H2O is a "hardcore band" that's been around since '94 with a very melodic, almost pop punk kind of sound. Needless to say they are all really old now and still releasing music with lyrics that cater very heavily to teenagers. Imagine Amity still releasing a record every two years with the same old "omgimysmbby" lyrics in like 2026.

I loved the lp but I do feel that their hype was more on Pure Noise pushing them. They just played a free show here in NY with Danny Brown. I didn't know till I saw your comment and decided to see what they were up to.

Michael "Everyone else in this band is mean to me" Keene just said the new Faceless record is done tracking and heading into mixing. Apparently they had Rydquist on vocals for a single or something but he left again (He joined a band named John Frum with some members from Dillinger Escape Plan). Also in the same interview he stated that Planetary Duality was a poorly mixed mistake and that he's gonna be remixing/recording ala Born of Osiris so that next year they may release it for its 10 Year anniversary. Planetary Duality is my favorite album despite it being the mess he says it is. Please Keene don't fuck this up.
