★★★★★ letterboxd.com/v9733xa/film/the-fabelmans/1/It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to keep posting these, as it's started to feel selfish and indulgent. Everyone knows where they can find the movies I watch. Happy New Year.

Don't Look Up (2021) The movie is a dark comedy through and through with the subtlety of a bulldozer. I enjoyed its cynical take on today's political climate, technology scam artists, and celebrity culture, but mileage will vary depending on your expectations. It feels like a full-length SNL skit, which isn't surprising considering Adam McKay's previous work. Overall, it'll be a film I remember for many of the good things it accomplished and was an excellent way to spend an evening.

Jackass Forever As much as I sometimes think I've matured and moved on from such old silliness, nothing warms my heart more when it comes to film than seeing these guys still alive and doing this. Hahaha! Got interested in watching this because while I was stuck on the couch with the flu I stumbled upon the excellent Family Feud episode featuring the cast of Jackass going against each other.
