It's Rian Johnson, it's going to be awesome. Kinda has a quirky Clue vibe to it, too.
If you haven't, watch his debut film Brick, which is just excellent.

Ha, it's Roland Emmerich, who's only a half step from Michael Bay. (This looked like Pearl Harbor!) Nonetheless, ought to be fun, lots of cool effects and loud gunfire. No better place to see that than in the theatre.

No better place to see that than in the theatre. Saw the trailer in theatres, and my first thought was “hmmm, I wonder what landmark/cultural touchstone will Emmerich blow up this time?” Lol |

So, The Lighthouse is another one of these genre films from a director who made an acclaimed horror movie before. Does that mean this is another film i can't see without nightmares? I really want to see this picture.
