Hundredth announced their new album 'Rare' out June 16th via Hopeless Records. Pre-Order HERE. This is the first single 'Neurotic'. I was surprised to hear a shoegaze track. Thoughts on the song?

New Bloom-era Endless Heights?
I hope all songs on the album will be like this.

...and another one bites the dust. Hundredth haven't really made a decent album in awhile, in my opinion, but it is a shame to see another band back away from the genre that defined them. Feels like most bands are going to shoegaze/lo-fi route. I guess with all the emo bands changing their sound it was inevitable for melodic hardcore bands to be next. I'll forever stand by When Will We Surrender and Let Go, hopefully they find success in their new genre.

I have to admit I like that Turnover/Title Fight sound in this.

I like it. I think they needed a change anyway since they were becoming stale & haven't released anything solid since Let Go imo.

I'm really digging it, they've really blended the gaze vibe and melodic side together well. I can't wait to hear what else they've got I have to admit I like that Turnover/Title Fight sound in this. Definitely a Citizen x Balance and Composure x Title Fight mix

Track is definitely catchy,I can't deny that. Gotta stick to your roots sometimes though and I wish they did.Sucks that a lot of these bands are not trying harder to separate themselves in terms of sound when taking that route as well. you summed it up better definitely

Stale is exactly what they've gone to for me as well, but this track was pretty great. I really enjoyed it, hope the rest of the album is on par with this one.

Although they don't have a very dense discog to stack it up against, I just don't think this is better than their 2010-2011 era material

i really like how this sounds. i always loved this kind of shoegaze feeling but i would never imagine Hundredth sounding like this. Let Go is still my favorite.
