I just went to my first concert/show since May of 2019. Took the old man to Trans-Siberian Orchestra for Christmas and had an absolute blast. I wasn't huge on their music going into this but the live show is something that just has to be experienced. Would definitely consider going again in the future. Yep they are pretty fun. Pyrotechnics and head-banging guitar solos amidst some really bravura performances. If I recall correctly, didn't stringypoo say he played one of their shows before?

Yep, I played 4 shows with the band. They’re great entertainers. Genuine talents. I entered the shows not a fan and left the shows admiring their work. Also, they’re huge. They’re so big they split into two units to cover different regions quicker during the Christmas season. And eating with them backstage with their traveling chef is badass. He makes whatever you want if he’s got it, and also provides a great buffet back there. Great memories for me. My most proudest moment is when frontman holds the mic to me and asks me to do solo improv on “Nutrocker” and gets shocked that I actually know how to shred impromptu on a violin. Haha, he told me violinists never know what to do and it only last a couple seconds but he couldn’t take the mic off of me. Hahaha

Went to see Lorna Shore on Wednesday. My first show since the pandemic. I’ve seen them before but it was the first time I’d seen Will Ramos live. His vocals are insane. The support band was Distant, also really good.
Next up is Beach House in May.

I finally got to see The Amity Affliction last week, it was amazing. They killed it live and I was having such a blast, not to mention the crowd was fucking great too.
