Right now I'm watching two new sports documentary series: season three of Drive to Survive (about Formula 1) and Making their Mark (about Aussie Rules). And 'm finishing up season two of Dawson's Creek.
Planning on watching Allen v. Farrow next, just to find out how fucked up Woody Allen truly is.

Been watching We Are Who We Are, and damn Essien, what a great recommendation. Absolutely loving it so far, with a lot of real LOL moments. *tips fedora* knew you'd enjoy it. That other series I mentioned - Collective - got some pretty negative reviews so I didn't bother with it in the end. Just finished We Are Who We Are last night, what a fuckin great ending. A lot of loose ends though, do you know if there will be a second season?

I finished the first season of Dickinson last night. Started out as a Hailee Steinfeld thirst watch but I got into it towards the last few episodes. Apparently season two is better written.
Also watched Q: Into the Storm - the docu series about QAnon. It got mixed reviews but I thought it was well made and pretty wild/entertaining. It's one of those series where the director embeds themselves with the subject matter so much that it feels like they become part of the story.
Thinking about starting Shtisel next.

Finished F1: Drive to Survive S03 last night. first time in a long time that I feel genuinely bummed that there's no more episodes for me to watch. Absolutely could not get enough of this series. Really good stuff, F1 just gained a new fan from here on out.

Just finished watching a 1995 BBC docu series called The Death of Yugoslavia. It explains the history of the Yugoslav Wars in a really accessible way, with interviews from the politicians and military leaders involved, and lots of footage from the war zones. Recommended if anyone wants to learn more about the conflict, particularly after watching Quo vadis, Aida?
Now keen on watching more European history documentaries.

You should watch this, if you can. It was brilliant.

Worked out as a good companion piece since the docu series only went up until the end of the war. Such a tragic piece of history and I find it hard to comprehend that this was going on during my lifetime. Zeke and I travelled around the Balkans a couple of years ago and you could still see the remnants of the war in some places. We visited the Museum of War and Genocide in Mostar, Bosnia. It was haunting to think that the guy we bought our entrance tickets from probably lost friends and family during the conflict. I've picked up a book called Besieged: Life Under Fire on a Sarajevo Street. I know it's going to be a difficult read but it feels important to try and understand the human suffering that went on.

started a re-watch just about to to get to finale of season 2, honestly season 1 has to be some of the best tv ever made? It is mindblowingly good, couldn't believe how well it stands up 15 years later. Would highly recommend just watching season 1 for a reminder.
