Prince of Persia trilogy - I bought it both on PC and PS2 Have you played WW recently? It used to be my favorite of the bunch, but combat was kind of clunky and the edge was too much when I played it again a few months ago. The free-flowing combat and storybook atmosphere of SoT were much better overall imo.

Halo 2 is definitely tops for me. I played that for years, was on forums, dabbled in competitive MLG...and met lifelong friends (including 2 groomsmen at my wedding) through Halo 2. I also met my wife through Halo (although, Halo 3). I wish they didn't ruin Halo though...after Halo 3 I felt like the series went downhill quickly (and I kinda thought Halo 3 sucked too, but I still played it a bunch).
Witcher 3 was incredible and the first RPG I really could sink my teeth into without feeling overwhelmed or bored by repetitive stuff.
I'm pretty picky, but if I had to pick a few more, I love the NCAA and FIFA games, and am really loving Overwatch and Rocket League too. Play those all the time.

There's so many but these are the ones I played most in my younger years:
Soldier of Fortune 2 (PC) - While everyone else was playing CounterStrike, I was playing this, pretty much every day, all throughout my teenage years. I was in a clan which had its own private server, we'd get on TeamSpeak and just chat and banter and play for hours, sometimes having scrims with rival clans and entering tournaments. I'd stay up late and wouldn't be able to focus in class. I miss that kind of online gaming community, it doesn't seem to exist anymore.
SmackDown 2: Know Your Role (PSX) - I was massively into WWF while growing up and played the shit out of this game. Used to just like creating characters and trying to set up ridiculous spots in matches. Was also admin of SmackTalks for a while which was the biggest wrestling gaming community online.
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (PS2) - Always been a football game addict too. This was where PES peaked in my opinion. Absolute best offline multiplayer.
The Sims (PC) - Used to play the shit out of this too and downloading all the custom skins and objects people had made online. Would spend hours creating a family and the house and then when it actually came to the game, get bored and kill them all.
I'll follow up with some more recent ones later.

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: This one is given, but it was also my first console game.
Zelda: Windwaker: A very ambiguous game by Nintendo in terms of art style and concept (traveling island to island). Just a lot of memorable moments in the game, such as entering Hyrule Castle in the abyss, that eerie music that plays as everything is black and white. Masterpiece.
Zelda: Breath Of the Wild: No games have got me hooked on playing for more than 200 hours other than BOTW. I don't think I have to explain myself on this one, the game is just so immersive, I still cannot believe Nintendo pulled it off.
Zelda: Majoras Mask: Yes, that is four Zeldas in a row. Fuck it. I love the concept of this game: Three days to save Termina, masks masks masks!, in-depth side quest (Saving cows from alien abductions!), and STONE TOWER TEMPLE. A masterful cluster fuck.
Halo CE: That glorious ancient sounding music lets you know how important this game is.
Red Dead Redemption: Most memorable moment: Crossing into the Mexico border and fight off all the banditos.
Metroid Prime: The unconventional FPS adventure game. Aside from kicking space pirate ass, you learn the world's history through lore. Played the other installments of the Prime series and I cannot wait for the 4th!
Halo 3: This was the first Xbox live experience that I, unfortunately, got a little too addicted (Went from A student to D or C). It was a golden time for console online multiplayer. My brother and I would gather people from random team deathmatch to test our Forge projects.
Call of Duty 4: This game was simplicity at it's best (before call of duty went completely nuts with all the killstreaks awards).
Super Smash Brothers Melee: I played the crap out of this game. Unlocked all the trophies, home run bat contest, and all the event matches.
Half-Life 2: I don't think I need to explain myself, other than it still kills me that this game isn't going to get a proper ending.
Zelda: Link to the past Mario Galaxy Bioshock: Infinite Resident Evil 4 Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast Dead Space Perfect Dark Starwars: Rogue Squadron Starwars: Rogue Leader Metroid Fusion Rocket League

Ok here's some more: Silent Hill (PSX) - The first genuinely creepy survival horror game I played. It had a really cinematic vibe. I was probably a bit young for it when it first game out and it scared the hell out of me. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 (PSX) - Addictive, replayable and a fun soundtrack. Final Fantasy 8 (PSX) - I know most people say 7 but 8 was the one that really captured my imagination, particularly with the story. GTA: Vice City (PS2) - Another one that I spent endless hours on even after getting 100%. I could've also gone for GTA3 or 5 (which I'm still playing) but Vice City just had that really cool neon-tinged 80s vibe. TimeSplitters (PS2) - When I close my eyes I can still picture my way around the Chinese level. One of the last great splitscreen multiplayer games. Capture the Bag was so much fun. Fifa 2014 World Cup (Xbox 360) - I mentioned I was a football game addict. I've played them all since around 2010, which is when I think they took over from PES as the best football game. This one, randomly, had the most balanced and enjoyable gameplay for me. I still have more to post later.
