The glassjaw worship and tribute 10year anniversary shows, were some of the best shows ive been to, flew from england to new york, and went to both sold out shows. 1 at midnight and 1 at 7 the next night. 'Bout 1000 people shouting every single word. It was super intense. This video is not very good, but i cant find much of the gigs documented. Also there was this show, (flyer only due to no filming and no phones). If you've ever been to the old blue last you'll know it can fit about 50 people in max. I thought that it was gonna be just new songs, but they opened up with old stuff and it was so so crazy. They then finished on a load of new stuff from there upcoming album, which was so so heavy. On top of this - i went on behalf of MTV(cos of faye), daryl put me on the guestlist!!!! Theres so many to talk about. Toured half the UK seeing Raein, Seen madball in a 100 cap room, seen xibalba in a 150 cap room. Seen cruel hand/h20/madball/7 seconds. Seen our time down here playing to about 10 people, seen xibalba play in a room to about 5 people including me. Long story short faye worked for some big companies and we got free in to a l o t of shows.

"There is so many..." is right, especially with the variety of music I listen too. Non metal: Govt Mule and The Revivalists are probably the best live bands I have ever seen in my life. They are a different type of energy and both bands always seem to be clicking right from the first note played Metal: Wow, there is a bunch....Lost Souls and Down To Nothing from Richmond are always fantastic...Sick Of It All has been on point every time I see them...Geez, so many....

There are so many it's not even funny haha. One of the first that comes into mind is Thrash and Burn 2008. I had been going to shows regularly for about a year at this point but I had never seen a lineup that rocked me so hard. Everything was tons of fun until Parkway Drive and Darkest Hour played their sets. Remember this was before Deep Blue and The Eternal Return respectively so the sets were just jam packed with the best tracks and the whole floor was a pit. Legitimately hurt to speak for me after this one.

Back in the day I was a huge Enter Shikari fan (07-09?) when they dropped their first album (their best IMO). This was their first US tour ever and they played this tiny venue in my town but it was also my favorite venue. Maybe 25 people showed up and it was one of the best and most energetic sets I have ever seen. They could care less how many people showed up, mind blowing. And now they are selling out 5k cap venues, insane.

Definitely not the kind of thing I'd normally share on this site, but it's a site for music lovers so what the hell? I have always really enjoyed funk/soul music and I am IN LOVE with this artist, Charles Bradley. He's an old man who has lived a very hard live and was discovered very late into his life and is just now sharing his passion with the world. Not the best audio quality but I love this video in particular as it really captures the emotion and authenticity of his performance. A true soul man. Hope you guys like it.

So glad this set was captured on video. Back when this band and the new wave of hardcore was at it's peak imo.
And God's Nate just laying waste to the front row looks like a Renaissance painting.

Incredible, really really good. Reminds me alot of Bobby Womack, who is one of my fave guys, though never got to see him live. He has so many good songs.

So hard to remember, so hard to choose. I've been to a fuck ton of a shows, and there's been soooooo many good ones. A lot of bands that either are done, or it was back in their prime.
STYG is one for me, though I know they still put on good shows today. I saw them back in the 'This Is More' days and I fucking loved that shit, sad they don't do it anymore.
I also saw Bane's 10th(?) anniversary show and that was awesome, especially because the venue got rid of barricades on main stage. Everybody was having a good fucking time, damn.
Suicide Silence back in the day too, when Mitch was fucking brutal live.
I went to New England Metal & Hardcore festival a bunch as well, that was really fun up until like 2010 when it got super lame.
