I saw Hatebreed shortly before or right after perseverance came out at the sidebar in Baltimore with Mushmouth, Death Threat, and what feeds the fire. The stillborn fest 2000 was dope.

Basically every set I've seen of Letlive. But one that really stands out is watching them at the Milwaukee Warped Tour a few years ago. I've become friends with the band so they got some backstage passes for a few friends and I from Architects. During the set, Jason climbed to the 3rd story balcony of the amphitheater and hung from the railing. I was on the side of the stage and remember seeing the look on Jeff's and Jean's faces when they turned around and saw him. I thought they were going to put down their guitars and go save him. (Obviously Jason didn't fall.) Later on the tour bus, Jason was saying how he does some pretty crazy shit at shows, but that was one thing he immediately regretted as soon as he did it. He was well into the set, it was blazing hot out, and he was full of sweat. Amazing band, amazing guys, and I'm sad that they broke up.

Second favorite set was heading down to Kenosha, WI to a little VFW for Monsters' last show ever. The place was packed with about 50/50 scene kids (there were some pretty decent pop punk bands there) and straight up pissed off dudes who wanted to kill someone. The whole show was pretty fun jamming to some whiny power chords who just missed their friends and were starving for pizza. Then Monsters came on and the entire show shifted.
Now, I am not a huge guy. But I wrestled my whole life and developed a certain toughness that only short, somewhat stocky guy (muscle, not fat. I was a little guy) can have. So standing by all these hulking pissed off dudes, I had a lot to prove. Basically, I just tried punching as many guys as I could so that I could earn some respect and not get killed. "Holy shiiiiiiiit" was I wrong. Everyone was angry and basically out for blood. These dudes just fucked that entire place up. Monsters didn't take a single break between songs and everyone just got more pissed. The cops showed up, one guy went to jail, and I got to see the very last time Monsters played.
BRING THEM BACK!

LMAO that sounds like a tight show. I've seen Monsters a couple times and I don't know if they have a legit "crew" that they bring with them everywhere or if they're just that heavy in clout in and around the Chicago mosh scene, but every time there's been a pack between 10 - 20 big dudes just sitting out the show and getting a vibe of the crowd, and then when Monsters come in they just start swinging and full-body knocking down those at the edge of the pit, with a doglike snarl on their face looking like they're out for blood. Craziest shit I've seen was someone hanging from the lights above the stage and just kicking the shit out of everyone underneath in the front row. Every time I've seen Monsters, I was scared for my life.

Saw them play up in Minneapolis once and it was a little different. Still a rowdy crowd, but nothing like the guys I saw down in Kenosha. Those guys were terrifying haha!

Seems you guys and I have a different idea of what a good show is like. That sounds awful to me
