Talk everything hockey-related here!
The NHL Stanley Cup Playoff kicked off yesterday night and 2 OTs already! Jake Allen was a total hero for the Blues and the Oilers lost a 2-0 lead to the Sharks.
Tonight we have a Blackhawks vs. Predators duel and the Maple leafs could surprise us against the Capitals.
My predictions for Round 1 :
Western
Nashville(6) - Chicago
St Louis(7) - Minnesota
Calgary(4) - Anaheim
San Jose(7) - Edmonton
Eastern
Montreal(7) - New York
Boston(5) - Ottawa
Washington(4) - Toronto
Columbus(6) - Pittsburgh

I really love watching hockey, but I've never sat down and followed an entire season. I'm from texas, but I've never seen a Stars game. My only exposure is a minor league hockey team in my area lol Who is the shit and who sucks? I always hear about the Blackhawks and the Pens

It was a pretty tight race this year if you look at the STANDINGS HERE. Yes,the Pens and Hawks have won the cup many times in the recent years and I would say the Pens are still great contenders this year, but imo the Caps are the one to look out for. |

I'm a huge Flames fan, and last night it took all the patience I had in the world not to lose my shit after the bad penalties and the terrible line change that cost us that game.

die hard Leafs fan here, would love to see the boys surprise everybody and beat the caps. Which really is possible. especially after yesterdays game.
The Caps have so much pressure on them, and after their playoff performances for the last 5 years, they could easily fuck up again haha.

Started following hockey from last season mostly just watching Sharks games. It was a good season, but a disappointing end. I hope they do one better this time around. Go Sharks!

flames did great in the first round
blackhawks are on fire
i really want the leafs to go to cup, that would be awesome. like leafs and oilers would be UHMAZING or something. just my opinion though.
but I'm a pens fan..........................
i follow a page on Facebook called gloves off hockey and it's pretty much the best thing ever
