Hope its okay to start a separate thread rather than spamming in the picture thread. Anyway just back from the Isle of Arran, arrived there Tuesday morning. Got home yesterday afternoon. Couldn't have asked for better weather, wall to wall sunshine for the entire trip! Here are some pictures (videos will come when I get round to editing the gopro footage): On the ferry between Ardrossan and Arran (can see Arran in the distance) The view from where my tent was (Glen Rosa). Top of Goatfell. View of Goatfell from Brodick. A little bit after the campsite further up Glen Rosa. Viewpoint of the mountains from the south of the island. Panorama of campsite. Waiting in Brodick for the ferry to arrive. All in all an amazing trip made all the better by the weather, would definitely recommend Arran.

You inspire me, man!
I am waiting for good weather to come. There's a national park not far from Warsaw that I would like to visit during a weekend.

Weird, all the pics are broken for me on Firefox but not MS Edge... Anyways, beautiful pics man. You always have the best spots for biking and what not. Hoping to go hiking this Summer, and I'll take lots of pics

Have to admit after 4 days in the wilds I wasn't the best smelling person. Campsite didn't have a shower so washed in the river instead, but it was farking cold.
Shower was amazing when I got home mind.
also edited a video from the day I took the bike to the top of Goatfell on Arran.

I enjoy outdoors so much! One of the best thing about my University (NM Highlands) is their Outdoor rec team. They regularly take students on different trips mostly here in New Mexico and its always super fun.
Most notable hikes I did this semester were at Tent Rocks and White Sands. Also, did camping at Morphy Lake (great local spot in Mora, NM) and tried Skiing as well, but it was not very pleasant experience. New Mexico is great place for outdoors. One of the reasons why I've enjoyed my stay here thus far.
Those pics are awesome, schmako!

I rented a cabin by a lake in the Adirondacks over Memorial Day Weekend. Taking my dogs too. My kids might complain with no TV, internet, etc. but I know my wife and I (and dogs) will at least have a fantastic time.

anyone in here experienced in UL tents and has some recommendations? i'm interested in the Salewa litetrek pro II. but it is all new and i can't find any reviews for this one. the big plus for me againt MSR a.s.o. is, that it is a semi-geodetic tent, the inner tent is fixed on the outer shell, and i don't need the cords to put it up.
