Last couple of weeks I really want to go on a hiking vacation and just go outside, wander through a nice landscape and cleaning my mind

These are all great pics I cant figure out how to upload pics here from my phone. You can't directly upload from your phone like that. First you need to upload it to some image hosting site like tinypic or imgur

There's a yearly light festival in Sydney called 'Vivid'. Here is a weak ass shot of the opera house from last night. PS. Sorry if this doesn't fall in the 'great outdoors' category.

Went on a float this weekend on the James river. 14 mile float no big deal. Set up camp night before. Rains 6 FUCKING INCHES. That doesn't discourage me. Go ahead and go rent a kayak, drive down to the launch point. water is booking to the point its white capping. Wait for two fucking hours for the shuttle service to show up, just to let me know that they ran out of kayaks. He says, I have a tube, but the water is way to high, it'll be dangerous. Well after waiting two hours in the sun for them to NOT show up with my kayak. I had a lot of time to get impatient, as well as drink about 8 beers. So I told the old boy, give me a tube, I'll be alright. He argued with me then finally gave up and gave me the tube. Launch my tube, everything is going great for about.. 50 foot or so. Then get sucked into a brush pile, hard. A piece of brush punctures into the side of my ass cheek, Stop at the next rock bank and bandage up. Still having high hopes at this point. Then in about 100 foot the white caps are pulling me under. Until I flip. Loose everything I have on me. Loose the group that I'm with, finally get washed into shallow enough water I can see what the fuck is going on, my inner tube popped. SO I sat on the bank for 6 FUCKING HOURS with a bleeding ass and a popped inner tube for someone to come by. Some older couple finally stopped and said they would let me in there caneo and let me off at the camp site. I praise them, get into there caneo and pull back into the current. Promptly flip again, the lady in the front looses everything, phone, wallet, money, camera, go pro, seat, cup, glasses, everything. Get banked, launch again, then I awkwardly sat there for another 8 hours during the float with 2 people I had no clue until they dropped me off at my camp site. Great weekend.

I did a week in Iceland back in April for my honeymoon. We did a lot of hiking and exploring and it was pretty amazing.
We both started getting into photography too so we both got DSLRs and went nuts with photos on the trip. I'll post some later on when I can.

Iceland would be sweet! Just got back from the Tarmachan Ridge on a usual Scottish summers day (i.e. wet and foggy). 890m of climb, was a good day out on the hills, 6 hrs, thankfully no navigation fails in the mist. Last of the visibility before we ascended into the clouds Small body of water as we walked along the ridge Best visibility of the day (unfortunately) Usual waterfall shot

Just back from Loch Earn (walking) & Comrie Croft (biking). Good couple of days away, can't wait to get away next week. Being on holiday is great. Some pics: We climbed from the loch side - Stuc A'Chroin (the second peak of the day) - Ben Vorlich (1st peak of the day, from 3/4 way up 2nd peak) - Climbing 2nd peak, thankfully going round this not up it - Cloudy at the top (could've been worse though) - Spotted a fairly large herd of deer on the way down - Ended the day with plenty of booze, smokes and pizza next to the fire - Good times, will get round to editing the gopro biking footage from Comrie Croft at some point too, was rocky, technical and raining but decent!
