The second half of the Leaving Neverland documentary is on tonight. It's just absolutely devastating and sickening so far, I'm just heartbroken for these two men and what they've had to live though.

Lee Chang-Dong’s “Burning” is now out on DVD/Blu-Ray; payday can’t come fast enough so I can check out what all the hubbub is about.

Made a list of all the films I personally own that were directed by Akira Kurosawa, and I’m going to watch them all throughout this year and try to marshal my thoughts on each individual film; gonna try and start this tomorrow, as it’s Kurosawa’s birthday tomorrow. www.letterboxd.com/mr_macaroon/list/current-kurosawa-collection-2019/Anyone/everyone is welcome to participate with me if they’d like!

Not a movie per session but Netflix has said The Witcher will air in late 2019. Really excited about this I didn't much care for the books but that was largely in part to the way the author told the story, the characters were fantastic and this has a lot of potential.

After years of avoiding the Marvel films, i finally started watching a few back in like 2014. Then i caught up and started seeing them in theatres. I've come a long way from really disliking most superhero movies (except Batman, always my favorite) to looking forward to these huge films and even seeing them on opening weekend. None of them are that great, but it's lovely escapism.
I actually got tickets for opening night on Thursday for Endgame and i'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun and craziness.

I think the Marvel films definitely need to be seen in theatres. You need that big screen and sound experience. I enjoyed the first Avengers when I saw it at the cinema but when I watched the second one at home, I though it sucked. Think I've kind of missed the boat on them now (and they're not really my cup of tea anyway).

Real theatre in Tennessee. Sure can't say "hell" but you can show an anti-abortion movie full of lies and horrific bloody images.

Damn. Sad to hear of John Singleton’s passing. Rest In Peace. I need to watch Boyz n the Hood in his honour. I've never seen it. Hoping it's better than 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Planning to rewatch the Star Wars movies before Rise of the Skywalker is released. I've been reading up on fan edits and have downloaded the 'despecialised' versions of the original trilogy and the Hal9000 edits of the prequel trilogy. Will post some thoughts as I work my way through them.
