Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It was released in May 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.



Essentially a hero-based shooter, Overwatch assigns players into two teams of six, with each player selecting one of 24 pre-defined hero characters with unique movement, attributes, and abilities whose roles are divided into four categories: Offense, Defense, Tank, and Support. Players on a team work together to secure and defend control points on a map and/or escort a payload across the map in a limited amount of time. Players gain cosmetic rewards that do not affect gameplay, such as character skins and victory poses, as they continue to play in matches. The game was initially launched with casual play, with a competitive ranked mode, various 'arcade' game modes, and a player-customizable server browser subsequently included following its release. Additionally, Blizzard has developed and added new characters, maps, and game modes post-release, while stating that all Overwatch updates will remain free, with the only additional cost to players being microtransactions to earn additional cosmetic rewards.

This is probably the only game I've really got sucked into for a while. It's pretty much taken over my concetration when it comes to video games. Whenever I wanna play a game, it usually ends up just turning into a "I'l just play a few rounds of Overwatch" I play on PC but this is for anyone that plays it on any console.  Any other players here? I main Solider 76 & Reinhardt.

I play on pc but just started not that long ago.
Been playing mostly Lucio, Orisa, and Torbjorn with the occasional Pharah. I'm only like level 18 so i'm pretty much a noob at this point but think i do well with lucio

I got the game a few weeks after it came out, but I'm like nowhere near a high level like some of these other people. I just got my first promotion last week.

I still play on PC. Placed into Master this season playing only Lucio and then stopped playing competitive entirely lol. Playing every match with the same team composition (pick diversity above Diamond is like 6-8 characters) and a bunch of screeching cunts every game is hilariously unfun.

This was my favorite game last year. It was one of the few times I bought something purely out of "hype" & it did not disappoint me.

Mercy is my go-to character (or Hanzo if there's a healer in the team already)

Still love this game but I definitely don't play as much as I use to. I just jump in every once in awhile when they release a new character or have some event going on. My girlfriend still plays religiously and is obsessed with becoming a grandmaster. Still one of the best games to just pick up and play.

What does everybody think about the new event going on right now? Uprising. I think this is honestly the best event they've had yet. I'm trying to get me that damn Widow skin.

Played solo a lot and got stomped on. I was supposed to have a play group on ps4 but they never bought the game. Ended up selling it but when I did play my go to were D.Va and Zenyatta. Might re-buy it on pc now that I have a rig.

Play on PC and main Lucio. Competitive sucks major ass... try getting out of gold. It's like impossible.
In quickplay I love to play D.va and Mei. But I stopped playing recently due lack of time. The current event looks sick tho.

Play on X1 and vary my hero usage a LOT. My mains in competitive are probably D.Va, Soldier, and Bastion/Torb. But I generally am pretty good with all heroes.

I fucking hate this game but it's so addicting. Currently working my way to Diamond but as always, it's difficult as shit. I love playing Mercy and Lucio though, occasionally Rein and Soldier.

I've basically become a D.Va main for competitive games over the last few nights playing. She's such a beast. Plus her and Rein combo is really really good.
