Yeah you´re right with this, but IMO reaper is to strong now. He get´s picked quite alot now and this weakens the whole tank class somehow. I honestly don´t know what to pick when the enemy Team has a reaper. Especially in Solo-Que when the team-mechanics aren´t the best, then the reaper just walks trough the tanks and shredds them. He's supposed to be good against tanks, though, he was just invalidated by Roadhog. His damage is the same as before and you could always animation-cancel a reload with wraith, he just gets a bit more health from tanks and won't be deleted by a character he was built to counter. He actually gets less HP from squishies with the lifesteal than he did with the orbs. As for characters that perform well against Reaper: 76 (pretty good at all ranges tbh, rockets/heal should give you the edge in CQC) Pharah McCree (more of a skill matchup, but flashbang/fan will fix his wagon or you can kill him on approach before he's in range) Mei D.Va (not a direct counter, but DM ruins his ult and your team can kill him before he gets out of the ult animation) Zarya (shield and small hitbox) Ana (small hitbox makes it hard for him to land an entire shot, grenade to nullify his healing) Lucio (best bet if you're playing support and your teammates have no spatial awareness) Symmetra (he'll have to burn wraith to break the beam and you can do more damage unless the Reaper's aim is godlike) He needed something because he's been the worst DPS in the game for a while, but I don't see this change elevating him to must-pick tier unless teams start doing three tanks again or Pharah and 76 get nerfed and people stop picking them. |

Got a Rein Highlight Intro, Rein Emote, Legendary Pharah skin, and a Zen end of game stance thing. That box through twitch also gives you 5 free loot boxes next 2 months I think. The less duplicates the better, IMO, half my boxes are 3/4's duplicates and there's so much stuff that I don't have. Ghosty I played with Roadhog yesterday post patch and I think you're right. It was only 1 game but I still went 12-0. Didn't insta kill more than 2 ppl, but was able to be a big annoying body who is hard to kill and the grab can still lead to a kill, just not one shot. |

lol competitive is a complete cesspool even at 3500+ SR this season. I thought people stopped blaming other people and telling other people what to do after they got out of plat, but apparently not. Gonna slog through the rest of my placements and then not play it again for another two months.

Your rank isn't reset between seasons, so why do we need to "place" again every season? Also decay apparently means nothing because I stopped playing after my placements last season and my SR went down to 3000, but I was playing with and against people who were 4000+ this season. Even at master/grandmaster the games come down to luck and whichever team has fewer obnoxious trolls, throwers, and belligerent tryhards on it. Every single game I played had at least one person criticizing everyone else, telling other people what to play, or throwing after losing one round. Absolute worst community I've ever been a part of. |

Yeah I think placements just take your last season SR and your mmr and combine the 2, then just subtract like 50SR from that. I guess you get more ST too after your placement matches to help raise your SR in a positive way. Like giving you the feeling of staying on the winning streak cause you're winning so much SR every game. Idk. That's my understanding from all the Reddit posts I've read since I started playing. Shits wild. As far as the decay, yeah that's nothing. That's only meant for end of seasons rewards because as you mentioned you were at 3000 placed with master and GMs. So it's just using that hidden mmr score to match you with similarly ranked people. |
