How's the new comp season? I haven't played in a few months and I'm getting exhausted thinking about placement matches. Might be worth waiting to do placements until the end of the season since the Roadhog/McCree/Reaper changes will probably shake things up considerably. I think I might try to get mine in after the event ends but before the patch and then just stop playing competitive because it's a garbage game mode lol. Yeah, I did 2 placement matches and stopped playing. I love the game, really. It's a fun and simple new FPS, however the community sucks and nobody really works together like when the game first came out. |

The community was way better when the game first came out; now every mode is filled with sweaty-ass tryhards and trolls. This game is as fucking casual as it gets (press Q to win) and nobody gives a damn about the eSports scene, I don't know why Blizzard had to cram a competitive mode into it. |

I struggle not playing ranked now, to be honest. Quick Play is just...boring. Why should I care if nothing is on the line? I don't know...just how I feel with most games I guess.
Either way, played the best game of my life in competitive last night. A 4 round Dorado where they pushed the car to the end w/ 2:10 left. I thought we were dead, but we pushed it w/ 3:10 left. We then let the car get pretty far into the 2nd point but were able to get there with 8 seconds to go. I went 57-10 with 4 golds (elims, damage (22k), obj kills (27), and obj time (5:05)) and got the play of the game with D.Va.
FELT. SO. GOOD.

That's the problem, though. The game was fun in and of itself when it first came out; there didn't need to be anything on the line because it was easy to get into and entertaining without some arbitrary number assigned to your account. Now you either have dickheads that take ranked way too seriously or dickheads that use QP as an excuse to troll and be a sacks of shit in general because "chill bro it's not ranked." I played League of Legends for years and quit because of the shit community and OW has honestly become worse than LoL since comp was added. |

I've literally gotten nothing from this event yet except for 1 voice line and 2 sprays. I did land a legendary skin, but it wasn't event specific...same with a rare victory pose. I want some of the skins and the dances!!!! I'm excited to get going on my placement matches tonight, though. Your profile gif is 100% accurate for PS4 comp. Just everything burning around you with you telling yourself "Look at this team, we're gonna do great" as you cry into your SR losses and ramen. |

Placed badly despite winning 7/10 I had this too. i LOST 100sr from the end of last season despite winning 7, losing 1 and drawing 2. It dropped me from Diamond into the cancer of plat. ended up regaining those points in two wins though, so i don't know why they even bothered doing it. |

Ahaha, some luck and some of my best games ever got me back to gold. I'm still at like 2050 right now though. Last season I had 2 different nights where I won 8 straight games which pulled me out of the muck pretty permanently. |
