Which is your favourite release by Blink 182 and why?
Blink were probably the first band who REALLY got me into punk music back in about 1998, so they always hold a special place in my heart. I'm not sure if they're a popular band on here or not but I thought I'd see what people are saying regardless.
For me it's gotta be Enema of the State as my favourite as it was my gateway album for them and still sounds great even now. The elitist in me would pick Dude Ranch and I think TOYPAJ is a close 3rd as well. I never really got into the self-titled record where they really gained mass appeal and I don't think I've ever heard Neighborhoods from back to front. California was kinda cool but I haven't really spun it since it came out.

Enema is the best but the first 4 albums are all amazing. Josie is still a top 10 song for me.

1) Blink 182 2) Take Off Your Pants and Jacket 3) Enema of the State
All very close and tough for me to choose, but my favorite songs of theirs are all off of the self titled: Not Now, Go, Feeling This, I Miss You... goddamn.

Wow, this is a good poll to have. I have been listening to blink since about 98 as well.
I voted TOYPAJ because it was so close but I figured it would give the poll a little diversity. Really - TOYPAJ, Enema, and Dude Ranch are all tired for 1st place.
I there anyway we can make multiple votes on these polls so we can vote top 3?

It's so hard for me to choose between Enema of the State and Take Off your Pants and Jacket. Enema was such a top three album for my personal musical story, but I think TOYPAJ is ever so slightly better start to finish. Dude Ranch and Cheshire Cat deserve some respect too. I really liked ST and California too, they did a great job of progressing their sound but maintaining that core Blink-182 identity. Neighborhoods was a dumpster fire, I always chalked that one up to Tom wanting to go a different direction and Mark and Travis obliged him.
If I could go top three it'd be 1. TOYPAJ 2. Enema of the State 3. California

TOYPAJ for me. It was a much bigger sounding album than their previous works and had a nice balance of fun poppy songs and emo angst. Also one of the first CDs I owned so it got played a lot.

You put their live album here? Eh, no point.
Enema of the State should be the clear winner but if i had a second vote i would go for the shockingly good recent album California, which i still can't believe is as good as it is after multiple listens.

For me TOYPAJ, it's the album that got me into Blink. A lot of great songs on that album.

Went for the completist approach. It's a fun live album to be fair if you like dick jokes.

Never could take any of their releases seriously. Early albums are mostly joke songs, middle albums were MTV emo porn, and I don't care about anything they released after high school.

I thought like that too (i literally have a 20-year old Blink shirt that still mostly fits) but i recently completed my discography of theirs and i was amazing how well most of the stuff holds up.
And again, i can't reiterate this enough, their recent album is just excellent. It blew me away but maybe i was expecting to be let down.

QFT, I've seen them live twice since they dropped that album and both times we're excellent. I love this album and still listen to it a ton to this day. On a side note Sum 41 also dropped an album last year that was absolutely fantastic.

Was already into punk music before I heard these guy due to my dad getting me into the sex pistols when i was 8 or 9 so i never had that thing a lot of people had with this band, but these guys were huge in the early 2000s and impossible to not take notice of. They have influenced innumerable bands since and their sound still sounds fresh today. TOYPAJ was my fav.
