This is great so far. Pretty interesting read, and easy to digest Nose mythos in Neil Gaiman form.

Currently reading: A Lions Tale by Chris Jericho Last book read: Best in The World by Chris Jericho
...and I still have a few more Chris Jericho books to read. I read them out of order not realizing how many he actually had. I also have The Outsiders to start.

I recently finished 'Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage' by Murakami (which Essien gifted me a few years back btw). I'd brought it back to China with me and finally read it!
Mixed feelings about this book. I finished it in three days and was on the edge of my seat during the whole book. It's well written and addresses some topics that I can relate to all too well, but on the other hand, I was also disappointed with the plot driver (the reason why Tazaki's friends dumped him)...
Score: 3/5
Have any of you read this book, what did you think?

I am currently reading The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg www.goodreads.com/book/show/12609433-the-power-of-habit

Just getting dug into the 3rd and final book of the Final Law series (Last Argument of Kings). I'm at about 100 or so pages so far and I'm already completely invested in it. If anyone here is a fan of fantasy or sci-fi type books, I've been reading a bunch of amazing series over the past few years that I can totally recommend! I absolutely adored this series, even if it's actually called The First Law series . I loved how Abercrombie was able to give us this very grim and dark and gritty series yet whilst doing so the entire time he is not so subtly making fun of the entire genre of fantasy in one fowl swoop, it's hysterical. Plus you have to love a series that introduces a brief plotline of "And today our hero suffers from premature ejaculation", absolutely brilliant. I say hero but realistically every single character in that series is just a varying degree of bad guy.

finished more than this by patrick ness a few minutes ago. i liked it, though all that's to come gets a little obvious once you've read 50% of the book. still, i'd recommend it.
also do y'all read paper books or ebooks? i used to only read "real books" out of protest but now that i'm not going to be home for a year i started reading on my tablet and it's not too bad actually.

I prefer hardcover, "real" books over ebooks. Just my preference, it's what I grew up with, and I never found an interest in ebooks in general.

I used to only real paperback, until I got my kindle, the convenience of a kindle is simply undeniable. Although about once a year I find myself missing the feel and smell of a good ol stack of papers and I buy something in paperback.

i just started reading Prince Lestat And The Realms of Atlantis by Anne Rice. so far im halfway through it and its pretty neat.
its her newest addition to the vampire chronicles. idk if anyone is into this series but if you havent read them, theyre really fascinating. i know vampires have a really bad rep now days. interview with the vampire up to queen of the damned are my favorite. the movies however are very nostalgic for me.
i also picked up the dark tower after years of my manager suggesting it to me. figured id read it one day to see what all the fuss is about and why people were excited for that movie.

I've said it before, it's kind of a polairizing series. I absolutely loved the first two books and really enjoyed 3&4, but the last three books left a really sour taste in my mouth. It just got weird, like really really really weird and it didn't sit well for me. That being said don't let my opinion defer you from this too much because I know several people who consider The Dark Tower the finest thing they've ever read. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you feel like you aren't enjoying it don't be afraid to walk away.
