Working again, thanks mate. Sorry for the mix up... I was bragging, not trying to be helpful.

Last night confirmed I am getting very old Had tickets to see Killswitch Engage - neither of the support acts interested me, and I didn't fancy staying out until midnight... so for the first time ever I actually sold the tickets and didn't bother going :/

I can definitely relate quite a bit. Speaking of KSE, I feel like I should probably check out their latest album from this year. Apparently it’s pretty good. I am digging the new As I Lay Dying, something I didn’t expect, so maybe I’ll also did the new KSE. Just maybe. Nice seeing a new member getting active. Stick around!

Ahhh, yeah it sucks. I wouldn't have thought twice about going out late in the cold before, and I barely even go to gigs any more. I think I maybe just didn't want to see KSE enough - their new album isn't bad but I feel like I've kinda moved onto other types of music now

This band and others like them haven’t really been my interest for a good 8 years or so, but I’m open minded about it. What bands are you into nowadays?

There's been a few shows I've had a ticket for and just not bothered going. I've wasted quite a lot of money doing it, so now I'm much more discerning with the shows I buy tickets for. My feet get tired if I have to stand for long

Yup, a long walk in the cold at midnight is not something I want to do any more
I'm mostly into heavy hardcore bands, listening to a LOT of Knocked Loose at the moment. What about you?

Did you look into selling the tickets btw? I wasn't sure I'd be able to, but it was surprisingly easy - I posted on the Facebook event and got my £60 back in no time (plus someone who was desperate to go was able to, win/win!)

Yeah, I’ve managed to sell one or two through Twickets but others have been more of a last minute decision. I don’t like doing business transactions with strangers in person so I’ve only sold online...

Soooo not sure where else to post this, but I wanted to share this. Ryan Kirby is releasing a devotional called The Embrace next month in conjunction with Heart Support, which I am quite stoked about given the excerpt here is actually quite good. I've also read a decent bit of Jake Luhrs' devotional called Mountains and it was certainly heavy, but a good read. Point here is that this is worth a read for anyone and it does not matter how you praise God or the music you listen to. Not trying to start an religious discussion lol, simply just want to share. heartsupport.com/embrace-excerpt/?fbclid=IwAR2y01CEAek3el1PwsLLji7-tCTGyHqg5LVPM2xov8lPZW0kTY4SpsQBhkk

I plan on seeing Ice Nine Kills, Fit For a King, Light the Torch, and Make Them Suffer in November here in Baltimore, and this lineup I'm interested in all of the bands. I guess I consider myself an exception to the rule with shows nowadays, because honestly I didn't actively mosh at shows until the past couple of years and I don't go crazy hitting up random gigs throughout the year.

Sooooooo....... Anyone looking forward to this year’s Secret Santa? Just an FYI: I won't be the one organizing it this year. I haven't been really active on the Marsh lately, so I don't want to commit to something I might not follow up on. I hope someone else can take it over.

Gonna have to say a big negatory for me bro. Biggest weight ever lifted off my shoulders was the day i renounced my Catholicism and accepted the absence of god as a huge relief.
