Also, crazytrain116, I apologize as well that my two favorite items I got for you will take FOUR weeks to arrive, which is insane. The first, according to Amazon, "was shipped December 11." Nevertheless, this third party seller with which they contract lists the item "arriving by January 10." Fucking ridiculous. The second, again according to Amazon's order page, "shipped December 10." Absolutely crazy. The update now reads "arriving by January 7." There were no details on where these items were manufactured or from where they originated until after I ordered them. I now see they are from literally the other side of the world. I had assumed ordering from Amazon was easier than having things shipped to me and then boxed and sent, but obviously I was wrong. Though it makes little difference right now, I would like to say that next year I'd like to start this at least a week earlier.

With my posting above, I’d also like to issue a slight statement: I do believe that I am one of the last persons to receive/open their gift from their respective Secret Santa, and you may be able to guess who my recipient is... Blacksalt, I sincerely cannot apologize enough for my gift not having reached you before Christmas; I honestly never thought it would take this long to reach you via mail. I did mail out your gift on the 17th, and every day that it hasn’t gotten to you I feel worse and worse. I am kind of angry that it took 6 days for my gift to process from me into Canada, and another three before reaching a “regional facility”. It currently says that it’s in transit, yet besides saying that and having arrived at a facility in Canada in Dec. 26th there’s nothing else that I can say, as that’s all I’m given. I am honestly terribly anxious everything will get to you safe and sound, and I hope really soon. I’m sorry. You have nothing to apologize for tao, you cannot control the mail. It’s always a slog going across borders and often I’ve had things I sent to friends in the US show up weeks afterwards. I trust you sent it, and I’m still going to love it when it gets here!

The Alestorm shirt came on Christmas Eve right before we headed out for the holiday and it fits great! I will try and post everything that has come thus far tomorrow hopefully. I need to the dogs in a good pic to show off the Notre Dame scarves, which will take a couple minutes . Hope you had a nice Christmas my man!

Stoked to see everyone did a good job this time around. Life got in the way and I completely brain farted on Marsh Secret Santa. Next year though, you know I'm in!

According to USPS it’s finally delivered. My feelings on the whole process: It has been delivered and when my wife gets home from Hawaii I’ll record a video of the opening and post it. I assume on New Years Day. Cue U2 song in the background or something.

If I may, is the box in good shape? Yeah man it looks fine. No noticeable dents or significant tears. It was opened by customs however and resealed.

Would have been hysterical if customs opened all the presents and put the paper back in the box.

I’m very happy that everything was safe and sound. Just a couple quick notes: - East Of West and Atomic Robo has been my top two favorite comics of the past few years, and I thought you may enjoy them; Atomic Robo is about a sentient robot created by Nikola Tesla who heads up a scientific thinktank and goes around the world investigating scientific mysteries. That omnibus collects the first three volumes -and- East of West is a dystopic comic about the fourth horseman off the apocalypse, Death, falling in love and becoming a father. - The shirt and CD are definitely local, as I’m from Sheboygan; the shirt is from a coffee shop I love to go to whenever I can, and the CD has a lot of good music on it, even though quite a few bands aren’t around anymore. I am friends with the bassist/vocalist for Not Exactly Heroes, and I knew most of the Sunny Side Down band, though. - Took a chance on Nevermen, as I liked the band, and when the band has members of TV On The Radio and Mike Patton, you know it’ll be interesting, and the other vinyl is actually Agoraphobic Nosebleed.
Merry Christmas!!!
