A thread to discuss the films you're looking forward to this year and beyond. Post trailers, news, posters, thoughts and opinions. Happy to maintain a list of upcoming films with UK/US release dates if people would find that useful.
To get us started... my most anticipated film this year has to be Denis Villeneuve's Dune, due out in December He's one of the most exciting directors working today, and he showed with Blade Runner 2049 that he can handle big budget/high expectation sci-fi. We don't have a trailer yet so will have to make do with the poster in the meantime: What are you guys looking forward to?

Maybe not the Best Picture, but count on 8 to 10 nominations for this one next winter.

Agreed with all of those film you guys have already mentioned. I've not seen the original Dune yet either so it gives me a chance to carry on hatin' on David Lynch before I watch a version of it from a director I do love.
Here's a few from me:
New one from the director a A Ghost Story
New one from the director of Certain Women/Meeks Cutoff
Films I can't find trailers for
Possessor (Dir: Brandon Cronenberg) Starring Andrea Riseborough, Christopher Abbott, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Sean Bean
A thriller about an agent who works for a secretive organization that uses brain-implant technology to enable its operatives to inhabit other people’s bodies, ultimately driving them to carry out assassinations for high-paying clients.
I'm Thinking of Ending Things (Dir: Charlie Kaufman) Starring Jessie Buckley, Jesse Plemons, Toni Collette, David Thewlis
An unexpected detour turns a couple’s road trip into a terrifying journey through their fragile psyches.
The Devil All Time Time (Dir: Antonio Campos) Starring Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Sebastian Stan, Robert Pattinson, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Mia Wasikowska
In the 1960s after World War II in Southern Ohio, bizarre, compelling and mentally disturbed people suffer from the war’s psychological damages.
Fonzo (Dir: Josh Trank) Starring Tom Hardy, Linda Cardellini, Matt Dillon, Kyle MacLachlan
Once a ruthless businessman and bootlegger who ruled Chicago with an iron fist, Alfonse Capone was the most infamous and feared gangster of American lore. At the age of 47, following nearly a decade of imprisonment, dementia rots Alfonse’s mind and his past becomes present as harrowing memories of his violent and brutal origins melt into his waking life

I think by now we need to establish the fact that A24 is the film studio of choice for the Daily Mosh.

Neon, however, released the two best films of 2019. I won’t dispute that fact; I still need to see “Portrait...”

The story of Possessor in one sentence: Sean Bean dies in it.
Looking forward to see The Devil All the Time. Also Robert Pattinson is popping up in new movies like crazy.

The story of Possessor in one sentence: Sean Bean dies in it. It's a given isn't it? Hopefully he's part of the possessed first
