“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” - Albus Dumbledore
We have the world news thread to talk about how shit the current situation is, but I figured we could have a place to share how we're trying to make the most of being on lockdown or in quarantine. Watching a good box set? Taking up a new hobby? Getting prison jacked? Tell us what you're doing to pass the time.
Myself, I've been dealing with a heavy cold and too busy with work to really do much this week but I want to come up with some ideas this weekend.
Earlier in the week I started watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The X-Files from the start. Two shows I've always enjoyed but never watched the whole way through. The nostalgia feels good.
Considering trying to grow a quarantine beard too. Seems like as good an opportunity as ever, right?

I dusted off my old PS3 and started playing Lego Star Wars. I saved up some money so I might end up buying a Nintendo Switch or an Xbox One and play some new games during this time. My gym is currently closed just as I started to progress my training so I've been doing some home work out routines.
I also facetimed my friends and we had a beer together haha.

Those who know me won't be shocked to see i'm watching a lot of films, namely to commemorate Women's History Month. I'll let you know where I head in April.

I've been setting up game nights with different groups of people. Playing cards tonight with a group of friends and another card game the next night with another set. I only got 2 firm yes's for a TDM game night, if anyone else has interested I'd be happy to set something up.
Other than that I intend to get good use out of this Nintendo Switch I just bought.

Girlfriend and her dog came over. Been doing that for the past few days. Watching movies, playing video games, just hanging out.
Decided to start Black Clover and watch that in it's entirety

I work from home, and home teach the kids after work and on the weekends. That keeps me really busy. In the mornings before everybody wakes up I do my work out routine of push ups, sit ups, and squats, and at night, when everybody is asleep the same workout plus a bit of shadowboxing and studying from kick boxing tutorials on youtube. After that I study for certifications for work. I wish I had time to play, my PS3 is waiting for me with a yet unplayed Resident Evil game, but even now I can't seem to find the time, I am busy or busier than ever.

I've been playing a lot on PS4, doing climbing related training (pullups, hangboarding, antagonist training (eg dips)). I plan on climbing on the table to do some endurance training - we'll see whether that results in a broken table or not.

I’ve had a very repetitive routine, everyday since January 19th. Here’s the schedule: 7:30am wake up, shower, brush teeth, eat breakfast 8:30am sweep the floors free of dust (yes we do this everyday) 9:15am online call with mom back home for a little while 10am the baby wakes up from his morning nap so I watch over him till lunch time. 11:30am lunch, followed by more play time with the baby. 1pm baby’s second nap (a big one), hammer away at Witcher 3 on my Switch during this time. 3:15pm baby wakes up, I play with him and eat snacks till his next nap 5pm baby’s last nap, plus me getting in a short Witcher 3 play. 6pm dinner, followed by any of us playing with the baby 8pm everyone showers and gets ready for bed. I play Switch from about 8:30-10 most nights. I’m on the last quest of Witcher 3 now, so my routine might change a little soon.
There are no variances to any of this. I’ve experienced this every day for two months. At times, I’ve wanted to go outside so badly, and others I’ve embraced it. Well, schools will reopen at the end of March, so my life will change soon. Back to teaching soon for me. We’ve watched China steadily stamp out the virus. I’m glad to be here.

Have to read a lot for work in home office now. Also playing a random RPG or watching Haikyu! currently. Also of course listening to a lot of music.

I haven't had a chance to play too much with the switch, hypothetically if I got Mario Kart would we be able to run some races together?
