I had a very soggy package on my door this morning in the middle of this Nor'easter. I think it's from my Secret Santa! I will wait until the weekend to open when I can do it during some nice sunlight.

I have received a box as of a day or two ago, I believe I have two more boxes inbound, so this box will wait patiently on my counter, out of reach of my dog, I don't think the box contains anything edible, she just loves to fuck up a good box from time to time, how many more commas can I fit in this sentence, clearly this is now a run on sentence, I shall now go practice espanol on duolingo.

One package I sent to my Secret Santa says it's running late, with an arrival date of anywhere between today through Saturday, and my final portion is "en route", according to USPS...

Alright alright alright! Sorry for the delay, got everything rerecorded and am proud and excited to share what an excellent job the one and only v9733xa did this year! Thanks so much for the thoughtful gifts! I'm most excited to get into the book, I think. I'll likely be annoying my wife all month with random bird facts. Glad you thought of me when you saw this! I'll post a review of the films soon tm - like I say in the video I haven't seen either. I'll be going into The 400 Blows entirely blind - never even knew it existed before opening the gift, so I'm excited to give it a watch soon! Being John Malkovich is something I've always said I need to watch, so I'm stoked to get after that one too, but I'll probably save it for second. Trying to watch both before the new year, but we'll see how that goes. The taffy is great! Going to be snacking it constantly! Thanks for sending a little bit of Delaware down south for me!  And of course the record - love it love it love it! Brings back tons of good memories about the early days of discovering my own musical tastes. Sum 41 was one of the first bands I found for myself around that age when I learned there was more out there than whatever my parents would play on the radio. Brought me right back to the days of rocking out alone in my room. Thanks for the cherry red trip down memory lane man, you nailed it. Merry Christmas!  |

 Haha, oh man, love that ending. You're so welcome, Corvus!! It was my pleasure. I had a lot of fun finding those things and doing a little research. I know you really like fantasy books but I was afraid of getting something you didn't like, so I went out on a limb for something totally different. I'm always getting my Dad books like that, random works of knowledge that are fun but full of 100 things you can tell a friend when you read them. I'm so happy to know you like everything else! Oh, yeah, salt water taffy! Mid-Atlantic beach staple, and nope, no salt! Different flavors, some with different taffy-ness, sure to destroy the braces of every 14-year-old who comes in contact with them. A real nostalgia trip for me getting that back in Dolle's (yep it's pronounced "dollies") in Rehoboth (ree-hoh-beth) Beach last month. You're the best, so glad you liked everything.
