I'm really missing the premier league in the UK now i'm living in New Zealand, but i went and watched the Southern Hemispheres version of the Champions League and it was hilarious! It was played in a park and was basically Auckland City vs Papa New Guinea and was free entry! You'd never see free entry to a Premier League or Champions League game in Europe How big is football/soccer down there compared to cricket, Australian rules football and rugby? Rugby is HUGE in New Zealand. Honestly, there's too much of it down here so it got boring pretty quickly. A lot of people play soccer/football down here but I don't know many people who watch the UK Premier League. Crickets big as well but NZ have a pretty shit national team.

So ManU is now in the Champions League...what does that mean for the Premier League teams that made it? Does one get kicked because ManU takes that spot? Or is it separate since they won Europa.

There is no change for the top four in the Premier League. England can have up to 5 team competing in the Champions's League. If in some miraculous fashion Leicester won the Champion's League this year as well, I believe that would've prevented Liverpool from playing next year.

It's soccer so naturally there's a ton of convoluted rules and situations out there. There was a scenario last year where if Man City won Champions League but finished outside the top four England would have had a top three in CL. I believe this year there will be five from England making it to Champions League. I don't pretend to understand it all.

I remember when Chelsea won the Champion's League a few years ago, the max per country allowed in the tournament was 4 teams. Since Chelsea finished outside the top four, that meant the fourth place team (I think it was Tottenham) got pushed down to Europa League.

If there's 5 in there next season, lets hope these English teams can step it up a bit. They've been pretty pathetic in recent years. Fair play to City for making it to the semi's and Leicester for making a real go of it but beyond that the 'big boys' haven't really stepped up. I'm sure Chelsea will likely be competitive next season, just need to hope Spurs do the same.

Really looking forward to Germanys Cup Final tomorrow. Who else? Tomorrow is going to be a fun day. Lots of Cup finals. I'm hoping for Celtic (because we all think if they could finished the whole season without losing a single game they could win just one more right?), Chelsea (even though I don't like them, everything is better than Arsenal), BVB (But Frankfurt can make a surprise huh?), PSG and Barcelona (my favorite team) in their games.

English summer transfer windows officially open and city have wasted no time starting the pillage of AS Monaco. Really excited to have young Silva to eventually place old Silva.
Also, I was really hoping, if not for anything else than pure comedy, that Chelsea would sign Alexis so that he couldn't play against them in the cup final.

Sanchez will wind up in Paris or Bayern before Chelsea, no way Wenger sells him to a direct rival with time left on his contract. There's also reports today that Arsenal have offered him a massive deal, but it's soccer transfer season so it all could be bullshit. I mean literally everything.
