looking forward to this. wish he'd spend less time talking during their live shows, they could easily fit another 1 or 2 songs in if jesse didnt talk as much

Always excited for new Stick to Your Guns. One of the best bands doing it.

Probably one of the only bands that can get away with politics/activism in their songs. GOAT

Meh. I'll always love STYG but they got pretty boring to me with their latest stuff. I remember finding out about them back in 2006 and even seeing them around that time as well. Solid band with solid shows, and For What It's Worth is still my shit today. They have good lyrics, however for some odd reason I just can't get into them anymore. I wish they could go back to FWIW style, but I know it'll never happen and I guess I don't blame them? I love this band, but IMO the older stuff was quite delicious. The EP and latest album was a little bit boring. Live they always say, that they never will make songs like THIS IS MORE and they won´t play it anymore

Pretty sad, especially seeing that 'This Is More' is such an awesome song to end the set with. Oh well...

STYG is one of the first bands I jammed which played Hardcore, but somehow I can't listen to them anymore. I will give this a shot tho.

This band (at least Jessie and Casie as far as I know) started out in the exact same tiny city in Orange County that I grew up in, Rancho Santa Margarita. Still remember when their myspace said that and I felt so proud. Everything after the first record was a step down and I had to draw the line at Diamond, but man am I happy for all of their success. i agree with this statement 100%. I think For What It's Worth is one of the best hardcore albums, start to finish. Every song is a banger. Every album after that hasn't even come close to what FWIW did

What's their gripe with their old stuff? Are they "beyond" that now since they've "matured" or some lame ass shit like that

That's is the stupidest shit Ive ever heard. So because you want to let younger kids enjoy the new stuff you're gonna alienate the music and the fans that helped get you to where you are today? Man what a load of crap That's literally like not eating chicken nuggets from Wendy's because that was your favorite thing to get there when you were a kid but now you just order a salad. /Rant lol
