I don't have one yet, as I can't justify spending upwards to $600 before I'm satisfied with it (extra controllers, memory card, etc.), but I would really like to pick one up if the price is right by Black Friday. I sunk about 120+ hours into BOTW and really enjoyed the experience, definitely looking forward to playing the DLC. I do believe that purchasing by Black Friday, for me, would be justified due to what looks to be a solid and exciting lineup by that time. I would just love to hear more about Project Octopath Traveler, dammit. Don't leave me dangling, Square Enix!!! Fair enough man, I agree with all of that. I just happened to find one and have the money and didn't know when I'd see one next so i jumped on it. But I'm right there with you in terms of Octopath Traveler. That game looks amazingĀ Pos, mate. Played through Bravely Second on the 3DS, sunk about 220+ hours into it (only because I was going for all the achievements) and loved the experience. Definitely left it open for a third game. Fast forward to the reveal in January, and we see the trailer for Prpject Octopath; looks cool, looks fun, prolly something I'd buy. Then you get to the end where you have the picture of the tavern scene and you realize the artwork matches the concept art for the Bravely series. Chills up and down my spine, my friend, CHILLS. PLEASE SQUARE ENIX, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

I've been "patiently" waiting to find one to nab. I really want Breath of The Wild, and now that they announced Metroid 4, plus a really solid looking new Mario title, i'm fiending for one.

But i was actually getting pretty frustrated with it because of this one boss i could not get past at all. That being said, it's an amazing game and the characters are alot of fun. But I just became waaay to frustrated with it. The boss that i had a lot of issues with was Chaugmar and he kept healing i believe. Maybe you have a suggestion. As for Octopath Traveler, that's really sweet it maybe tied to Bravely Default! Sounds like something Square Enix would do haha

With that being said, check out gamefaqs; they're a board where people can ask questions on practically any game. I resorted to it several times when I was stumped with Bravely Second. Hope it helps!

Have you also seen the trailer for the game "Lost Sphear"? Made by the same company as the one who did Setsuna.

Made by the same company as the one who did Setsuna. It's actually been really good. The characters are fairly cool and the battle system is pretty neat. You can actually change it from active or turn based. It's really linear so be prepared for that but sometimes I'm okay with linear RPGs. Definitely get it though, it's fun none the less

Too bad the new Monster Hunter isn't on it either. I was definitely going to buy it if it was. Still thinking about it due to Zelda since that game looks like so much fun. But as tao said, it would probably have to be a sale buy. Don't forget the Switch is region free, so theoretically you could still buy Monster Hunter XX. Holy shit I didn't know that..I might change my mind then.. lmfao.

Mine has been collecting a little dust since I finished BoTW (okay I didn't finish it, have like 6 shrines and the final boss left and no motivation to do either.) Mario Kart is fun for parties but I only have 3 controllers and a 4th would require buying either another pro controller or another joycon, both of which are too pricey for the limited use I'd get out of em. I'm really excited for the new Mario standalone, but in the meantime I'll be putting most of my hours in other platforms. I will get the Minecraft edition for Switch though once cross platform gets ironed out. I'll be able to play it with my sister who's on other platforms, which will be really nice.

I almost cracked at release, but instead opted for buying BotW for my WiiU, which is perfectly adequate. Mario Odyssey looks really fun, but I'm gonna wait another year or so to see how the library pans out.

I was feeling inspired after my friend came with me to Canada and we played his switch. Was going to buy one but couldn't find any in stock...I probably will never buy one now with the way I am and my spur of the moment purchases. Nintendo really needs to get their head in the game.

I still like its concept but i didn't use it in weeks now. Botw was fine, MK8 was okay for a couple rounds. NBA Playgrounds was fucking garbage.
I just don't get why it takes them so long to port all these old games to the switch.

Just nabbed one. Fun little console with a shit load of potential, if Nintendo can keep the software flowing in. BoTW is great fun so far and i've only dove a little ways into Mario Kart , and not at all with Arms.
I'm hoping for another Mario Party (My fiance and I love these), and will definitely be buying Metroid, Mario, and the Pokemon game that comes out.

Well Nintendo's official stance on porting from the Wii U is that they won't bother to port a game unless they're adding or improving the game to be a complete experience. If the game was fine on the Wii U and they don't think there is anything to improve on they will not be porting it, which is a shame because a lot of great games came out on the Wii U that people are going to forever miss out on.
