Plus, they're beneficial in feels and customization. Not really a fan of flat keys though, and there's a lot of different types of MKBs and keyboards in general. My friend showed me his old K70 red a few years back and I loved it. I always used a basic keyboard at home, school, etc. It's just a preference type for me, and it's compatible with PC gaming which I got into around 2013 sadly. I like the RGB lights on this K70 as well, plus my GPU has RGB lights along with my mouse lol.

Can anyone explain me why mechanical keyboard are better than the others? I know how to use google, but I prefer personal opinions than facts. Im pretty new to Mechanical Keyboards so I cannot say a whole lot about them except for a few things I have really enjoyed. 1. If you type for a living or work at an office having a mechanical keyboard really makes a difference. I had a wireless logitech keyboard that was alright. When I got my Ducky it was night and day difference. You can hear each key clicking, improves your typing and frankly it is just fun. 2. Customization - like Liggy said, you can customize your keyboard to your hearts content and to perform better depending on what your using it for. I guess Liggy uses his for gaming and I on the other hand just use mine for work and typing all day. You can pick out different switches depending on how good of a typer you are, change key colors, board, cables, lights, everything. 3. It is just a fun hobby to have if nothing else.

Question for ya'll.. Im trying to find a single key (Cap Locks) but im having trouble. I really want a clear one because there is a small LED underneath it that lets me know when its one but its hard to see because its not that bright. Any advice on sites that sell single keys?

Mech keyboards are alright. Just stick to pre-made boards and you'll be straight. Don't ever get in to custom boards. And don't ever visit r/mechanicalkeyboards or geekhack.org.

Highly recommend one though, solid build quality at a decent price.

This sounds really interesting. Want to take a further look into it. I suppose it's great for non-gamers as well? How's the typing volume, overall?

Im on a computer all day for work and typing so I really enjoy it. Different switches will determine to volume of the key strokes. MX Brown's are the best for everyday use and usually the quietest, but keep in mind, it is still not that quite. This is my keyboard (minus the LED's) with the brown switches.

Look back at Pwner's post a couple post up and he recommended some different sites to get you into it. Good luck! Might want to check out KB Warriors on Instagram to get some ideas. www.instagram.com/kbwarriors/?hl=en
