I actually completely forgot that there was a weekly Crucible milestone because I didn't bother to do the initial two milestones on my Hunter and Titan lol. I just want the IB armor for my Titan but I've only gotten one piece of it after turning in probably over 100 tokens. Pls no more Bungie. Drop rate for armor is pathetic. They need to offer items again like they did during Destiny 1. If you didn't get something you could at least buy some of the possiblities straight from the vendor. Knowing how they're doing everything else, I'm certain the armor set will be exclusive to season 1 too. i hate that engrams can decrypt into both weapons and armor. just opens the loot pool up to more duplicates (If i get one more f'n wardcliff!!!!)

I've probably gotten that stupid handcannon four times. I'm closing on 300 legendary shards, I don't need any more.

Since I havent done the raid or trials, it's making the climb from 297+ really grueling on all my characters.

Crucible is straight-up the worst PVP multiplayer experience I've ever had. No idea how the studio that made Halo 1-3 churned out this garbage.

they hear us! Isn't this sort of what happened with D1? Vanilla was garbage and people were pissed until after a couple expansions? I'm still having a pretty good time with this game, though, but maybe it's because I never played D1 lol. The core gameplay is tight and I always like having a game that I can play while listening to music. Orpheus Rig dropped for my hunter earlier today and there are a couple pieces of purple gear I'm still working on, so I still have stuff to do.

On the PVP side, most would consider Vanilla D1 to be the golden age for PvP with the House of Wolves (3rd expansion) being a close 2nd due to Trials of Osiris being added in. A huge fix for the PvP problem would be to give us Custom matches back. I'm not sure we'll see that so soon, but it's nice to see they're listening to the outcry of the community that just want PvP to be fun again with plentiful options. I'm excited for tomorrow. It can't get worse than it is right now...I hope.

Trying to get IB tokens this past week was beyond frustrating because every match was against a 3- or 4-stack who will obviously be better at teamshotting than four randoms who don't communicate.

That all sounds primo. I guess I should stop farming Io tokens and just buy the Gensym helmet next month instead. Are the armor ornaments just like transmogs that you can pop on any armor to make it look like a specific set (like I could have the full Frumious set equipped, but use the armor ornament to make it looks like the IB set), or are they entirely new appearances for armor?

I'm going to assume the ornaments will just slightly alter the appearance of the armor you're applying the ornament to. Similar to how the exotic ornaments affect the exotic weapons. It's just a minor cosmetic alteration. In D1, for example, they had specific ornaments for raid gear that you could only apply to that raid gear. It would be pretty cool if they had strike gear ornaments, crucible, trials of the nine, raid, and each planet ornaments that could only be applied to gear from those locations/activities. I can only see them doing that for Trials/Raid as the system would be too complex to have ornaments for every unique gear set, but it would definitely give players a reason to go to a specific location to get ornaments for a specific set they like from a specific activity. Lots of possibilities. (Edit: Just read the blog update and seems ornaments will apply to every thing I mentioned minus specific sets from planets - it'll just be a base ornament for those) I don't expect it this soon into the game, but eventually that Gensym helmet may no longer be acquirable. They'll likely add new gear/weapons to the game and gear you could get in year 1 will no longer be available in the game unless they choose to revive it in a future DLC or exotic upgrade. I'm curious about the common token vs rare token economy. I wonder if we will be able to trade tokens we have for these rare tokens. I assume the tokens we have now are considered "common". Perhaps, it's a good idea to stock up on as many from each activity so we can trade up for rare tokens? That being said, it's likely they'll just give more rep towards the xp meter? We'll find out next Tuesday when the new DLC drops.

Oh, I didn't realize gear had the possibility of being phased out. But I just turned whatever tokens I had left in my inventory into that annoying guy on Io and got the helmet lol.
