best cider beer and go..... My favorite is Deschutes Black Butte Porter. (I'm a really big beer guy if you haven't been able to tell from this thread, lol) I like that porter. That one and Wisconsin Brewing's Chocolate Lab Porter.

A new favorite. Have you tried their Xocoveza? It's like a mocha stout. Different, but quite tasty.

Tried Russian River Brewing for the 1st time down in Santa Rosa, CA this week. Was very good, and their Pliny Elder IPA's were delicious!
Also tried a bunch of Breweries in Bend, OR that I hadn't had before...Boneyard, Immersion, Good Life, Sun River, and Crux. Crux was amazing!!

I have a German Blonde Ale and a Brown Ale fermenting in basement now, just waiting to bottle.
I've been brewing for about a year and a half and love trying all kinds of craft beers when I go out to restaurants and bars.
There is a restaurant near me called Brauhaus Schmitz though that has a lot of imported German beers. A lot you can't get anywhere else in the US. German beer is my favorite by far so I'm in heaven every time I'm there. One of my favorites I usually get is the Andechs Weissbier Dunkel.

Just found this thread! Living in Atlanta is great because we've got some great local breweries, some of which have gotten pretty large. I think the best known one is Sweetwater 420, but there's also Terrapin and Red Hare which are getting some traction regionally. I don't much love beer, but I'll always order one of those when I can.

Come to Grand Rapids, MI. Tons of great craft beer out here (Founders). Also Bells is in Kalamazoo, which is an hour drive from here

Belgian beer is the best beer! Try out Leffe, Straffe Hendrik, Duvel, Westmalle, Chimay or Kasteel, and be amazed.

I live in Northeast TN and we have a ton of great local brewers between here and Asheville, NC. I'm way into anything dark generally, Stouts/Porters are my main vibe

Had Gonzo's imperial porter last night. '''Twas quite good, not too bitter of a body, and a subtle finish to it.
