Anyone still watching this? I kept watching this for old time sake.... I found the new season to be hit or miss in places. I will say, the pacing was much better than S7. There are still some tacky moments however, that kinda ruin the show for me. I wish this was on Netflix and could get the treatment of a show like the Punisher. What are your thoughts on them killing off Carl...? What direction do you think the show will head in now? This was a massive deviation from the source material.

I gave up on it but got my friend to fill me in on what I'd missed. Sounds like a lot of gunfights without anyone taking a bullet for a lot of eps. Can't believe they've dragged this Negan saga on.

Oh yeah.... this season has definitely seen it's fair share of gun battles, coupled with unlimited ammo... The build up to the last episode before the season break and the final episode itself, pissed me off. The way the show handles outcomes has become so sloppy. It's utter suspension of disbelief.

xsolasx Season 5-6 was pretty interesting. It starts to decline in quality around S7. It picks up a little in S8.

I thought FTWD season 3 was decent, nice change of pace from TWD. Still enjoy both though, but I do find it much easier to binge watch, rather than hanging on a week at a time for an annoying cliffhanger.

So, Lauren Cohan still doesnt have a contract for season 9 (a season that relies heavy on her storyline) and also TWD has now fallen out of IMDB's top 250 shows. Looks like everything is going swimmingly for the folks over there.
