Went to watch the cricket yesterday. It was a good day out but I froze my balls off and feel drained today. The rest of the weekend is going to involve staying in and watching the final two days of the cricket on TV, watching the F1 and trying to catch up with Terrace House before the new season is released on Netflix next week. Might see if I can fit in a trip to see IT Chapter Two tomorrow. Q3 was fucking hysterical, it'll be interesting to see how the FIA responds to that. Absolute shambles. There’s some talk of them introducing a qualifying race with a reverse grid in the future. I’d love to see it. |

Weekend is approaching! I don’t have any significant plans, honestly, but I am kinda glad that this weekend I will have more time for myself. Last weekend I worked with Kunshan Youth Orchestra from 9am until 10pm on Saturday because they had a whole morning and afternoon rehearsal, concert in the evening. This weekend, my Saturday is completely open. I feel I have no idea what I’ll do with all that openness, but I do know that I will likely fill it with these potential activities:
-Further Mandarin studies (I am working to do more private study this year, staying ahead of my weekly class, and working with other people to improve on my own)
-Finally catch another episode of Big Little Lies with my wife (we’ve not been able to watch together for the last three weekends due to how busy I’ve been)
-Complete next week’s lesson plans
-And of course, take time to spend with my son.
I hope I can accomplish all of these things this weekend. It’s never definite, but there is certainly a nice chance this weekend to relax, for which I am so thankful. No matter what my setting is, I am the person who always fills up their free time with extra work and opportunities when I can, a bad habit of mine. But when I look back, at least I can say I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. So I guess there’s that.

Friday night (right now): get drunk and play video games
Saturday: watch college football and then get drunk and watch UFC
Sunday: Watch NFL, do laundry

Another big movie weekend! Already went out twice yesterday, now about to drive to PA for another day in Neshaminy to milk my AMC A-List. See you later!

Went to the Indians game last night and we won to stay in the wild card hunt. Going to get an oil change now and the rest of the weekend is going to be about F1, football, and maybe some soccer too. With some borderlands 3 sprinkled on top.

With some borderlands 3 sprinkled on top. Apparently the Indians went 18-1 against the Tigers this year, setting an all-time record for wins against one team in a year. Goodness. But that means the team went 72-63 against the rest of the league. Hm. |

Can't wait for this weekend! My best friend is coming over from Amsterdam and we are going out for dinner and drinks in my hometown and on sunday I'll be hungover watching F1 and ordering pizza.

Yesterday went to see The Last Black Man in San Francisco with a friend. Today went to the football (an entertaining 3-0 win). Tomorrow going solo to watch Monos. The clocks go back tonight so I'm up past my usual bedtime  |

I've been with my dad all week, so i haven't been posting or watching movies.
Yesterday we went to the local Division III college football game, which was an exciting overtime win. Then we drove up to Philly for a Flyers game where they scored 5 goals in the the 3rd period to win. Great stuff. Gonna watch the Eagles with him today.
Blocking the FoxNews channel with the parental lock was the best thing i've ever done.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Going to see The Lighthouse tomorrow and I'm hyped. I am! It's a movie-filled weekend for sure! I just saw The Lighthouse and it's absolutely wild. Today along with Parasite I just saw two of the best movies of the year. Tomorrow is the Rehoboth Beach Film Festival (weekend #1) so another tank full of gas for me. |

Another big dumb movie weekend.
It's the last few days of the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival, and I have a trio of films lined up for tomorrow morning and afternoon.
Tonight i'm seeing the loud and silly-looking Midway, then back up to PA to my favorite movie theatre for a couple more big tickets. Then i might take a little break from all this driving...

I spent most of last night playing Death Stranding. Today I've got a friend visiting (planning on playing through Man of Medan). Sunday is the big match, Liverpool vs City. I'm not feeling optimistic so I've got a sizeable insurance bet on a Liverpool win.

I just hope it will be a game like Chelsea - Ajax during the CL. Klopp always tries to paint Liverpool as the underdogs. I think they should be the favourites going into this. It’s a home tie and their front three will be up against Bravo, Stones and Fernandinho. I expect Gundogan to play the CDM role, which won’t offer them much protection. It’s football though, anything can happen. |
